AUTO-VOX RV Backup Camera 7.2" DVR
Product description
This wireless backup camera system from AUTO-VOX is built to simplify reversing and monitoring for large vehicles, pairing a 7.2-inch HD monitor with an HD 1080P rear camera that supports IR night vision and DVR recording. It targets RVs, trailers, and campers where a stable signal and wider field of view help with campsite maneuvering and perimeter surveillance.
Key Points
The system offers plug-and-play installation for pre-wired RVs and a 30-minute DIY setup when using the supplied mounting bracket adapter and pigtail wire. Dual antennas aim to keep a steady connection and the manufacturer reports testing up to 500 feet, which can be useful for larger rigs such as fifth wheels, buses, and travel trailers. The monitor accepts up to three cameras, so you can expand coverage to side and entrance areas. According to the manufacturer, the camera records to a 32 GB SD card included with the kit and supports continuous or event recording on the DVR.

Usage Recommendations
Install the monitor in a location that does not obstruct forward sight while maximizing rear visibility. If your RV is not factory pre-wired, the camera can be connected to taillights, running lights, or marker lights for power. For wider coverage place additional cameras on the sides or near entry points to reduce blind spots and to capture wildlife or visitors approaching overnight. Keep in mind that wireless performance can be influenced by large metal structures and nearby radio interference, so test signal strength and camera angles before long trips.
Positive Aspects
The combination of an HD image sensor and IR illumination helps maintain color detail in daylight and usable imagery at night, making campsite checks more practical. The wide-angle lens expands the visible area behind the vehicle which eases backing into tight spots. Expansion to three cameras gives flexible monitoring options without adding hardwired complexity. A minor limitation to consider is that signal stability can vary with environmental conditions and vehicle construction, so occasional repositioning of the dual antennas or camera may improve reception.
