GRUSIGN HFCJ-K-BLK King Platform Bed Frame with Velvet Headboard

A king-size bedroom needs a supportive base that also suits the way you use the bed. The GRUSIGN frame pairs a padded velvet headboard with a wooden-slat platform. Choose a mattress-only setup or add a box spring for a different mattress arrangement. Its adjustable headboard height helps accommodate 8–12-inch mattresses.

Usage tips

Use the padded headboard as a comfortable backrest while reading, scrolling, or watching TV. The black velvet upholstery and contemporary shape bring a soft, finished look to the bedroom, while the rectangular platform keeps the focus on the bed rather than extra decorative details. If your priority is a place to sit up comfortably, the upholstered headboard adds a feature a basic platform frame may not provide, if your priority is mattress support, the slatted base accommodates a mattress on its own or together with a box spring.

The wooden slats secure with Velcro to help keep them in place, and the frame has center support legs. EVA pads are designed to reduce friction and squeaks. With 6.3 inches of under-bed clearance, there is room for storage bins or luggage, and the space beneath the frame is accessible for cleaning. Wipe the frame with a dry cloth as part of routine care.

Pros

The headboard adjusts to work with 8–12-inch mattresses, making it easier to coordinate the bed’s proportions with your chosen mattress. Its padded velvet surface adds a soft contact point for sitting up, while the iron-and-wood construction combines a metal frame with wooden slats. The flexible setup is useful when you want a platform-style base but may prefer to use a box spring as part of the arrangement.

Buyers often praise the frame’s appearance, velvet feel, assembly instructions, and quiet operation. Some also mention that the bed makes the room feel cozier. Feedback on the screws is mixed, with some buyers reporting that they are too short or do not line up as expected, follow the included installation manual as you assemble the frame.
