GRUSIGN HFCJ-Q-WHT Queen Platform Bed Frame with Adjustable Beige Velvet Headboard

The padded beige velvet headboard gives this queen bed frame a comfortable place to lean while reading or watching TV. Adjustable headboard height helps it suit mattresses from 8 to 12 inches. Wooden slats and a metal frame provide the platform setup, with room underneath for storage.

Technical overview

This contemporary platform frame combines an iron structure with wooden slats and a fully padded velvet headboard. The slats attach with Velcro to help keep them in place, while center support legs add stability. EVA pads are designed to reduce friction and squeaking where parts meet. The result is a bed setup with a soft upholstered focal point and practical support built into the frame.

• Size: Queen
• Color: Beige
• Materials: Iron, wood, and velvet upholstery on the headboard

• Headboard adjustment: Fits mattresses from 8 to 12 inches
• Under-bed clearance: 6.3 inches

The 6.3-inch space beneath the frame can accommodate storage bins or luggage and leaves room for a vacuum to pass underneath. That makes the open area useful for keeping bedroom essentials nearby while maintaining a cleaner-looking floor.

Requirements

Choose a queen-size mattress for this frame. Its slatted platform can support a mattress on its own or a mattress used with a box spring, so the setup can follow your preferred bed height and feel. The adjustable headboard is designed for mattresses from 8 to 12 inches thick, positioning it for your mattress helps the upholstered backrest sit neatly behind the bed.

The included components are the headboard, slats, and installation manual. Customer feedback often describes the assembly as straightforward and the instructions as clear. Some buyers do report concerns about screw length or alignment, so it is useful to follow the manual and check that hardware is properly aligned during assembly.

Who it’s for

This frame suits a bedroom that needs queen-size sleeping space, a padded headboard, and an uncluttered platform design. The velvet surface creates a softer visual finish than an exposed-frame style, while giving you a cushioned place to lean during everyday activities. The under-bed clearance is also practical in rooms where bins, luggage, or floor access matter.

Customer comments commonly praise the frame’s appearance, soft upholstery, and quiet operation. Those are buyer impressions rather than performance guarantees, but they reflect the features people notice in daily use. Compared with a simpler metal platform frame, this design adds a padded upholstered headboard and adjustable height, a basic frame may suit shoppers who prefer a more minimal look, while this one brings both a backrest and a more finished bedroom appearance.

Practical questions

Can I use the frame without a box spring? Yes. The wooden slats are designed to support a mattress directly, and the frame can also be used with a mattress and box spring.

What mattress thickness is the headboard designed for? The headboard height adjusts to fit mattresses from 8 to 12 inches thick.

Is there room for storage underneath? The frame has 6.3 inches of under-bed clearance, which can be used for storage bins or luggage and allows space for cleaning underneath.
