Yaheetech YT-00144802 Queen Upholstered Bed Frame, Deep Gray Velvet

Sized for a queen mattress, this Yaheetech upholstered platform bed frame pairs a deep gray velvet headboard with a modern chevron channel-tufted design. Its wing sides and padded headboard bring a soft, finished look to a bedroom, while the low-profile frame suits apartments and guest rooms where a streamlined footprint matters.

The frame uses wooden slats for mattress support, so you can set up a foam, latex, or spring mattress without a box spring. Its squeak-resistant design and 800 lb weight capacity make it practical for everyday bedroom use.

Quick sizing guide

The frame measures 84 inches long by 64 inches wide by 41 inches high and is designed for a queen mattress. The manufacturer recommends a mattress between 8 and 12 inches thick. Allow for the frame’s full dimensions when planning its placement, particularly in a smaller room or guest space.

The platform sits 12 inches off the ground, with 6 inches of clearance beneath it. That open space keeps some floor visible and gives you room to clean underneath. The padded headboard is 19.3 inches high, offering a soft surface to lean against while sitting up in bed.

Where it shines

The chevron tufting, velvet upholstery, and wing-side shape make this more decorative than a basic platform frame, while the deep gray color works as a composed backdrop for different bedding styles. It’s a useful choice when you want the bed itself to add texture and definition without relying on a separate box spring or a standalone headboard.

What matters most for a practical bedroom setup: a decorative headboard, straightforward mattress support, or both? This frame brings those functions together. Twelve wooden slats are spaced 4.5–4.7 inches apart, and the design is intended to support foam, latex, and spring mattresses. Assembly parts are numbered and organized, and the slats are strapped together to keep them grouped during setup. The manufacturer says two adults can assemble the frame in under an hour, a power drill is recommended to speed the build.

Buyer feedback often highlights the frame’s appearance and ease of assembly. Opinions on sturdiness are more mixed: some buyers describe it as stable, while others raise concerns about the slats. Some also find the headboard lower than expected. These perspectives can help set expectations when choosing a low-profile upholstered style.
