Gardner Pet GP01A9025WH Zeolite Cat Litter Pellets, Unscented 7 lb 2-Pack

For cat owners who need a refill for a double-layer or sifting litter box, Gardner Pet’s non-clumping zeolite pellets are made to let liquid pass through to a pad in the lower tray. The upper layer stays available for your cat while the pad handles urine below.

The pellets contain 80% natural zeolite minerals and are unscented, making them a practical fit for a litter setup that does not rely on added fragrance. The bundle includes two 3.5 lb bags.

Looking for a litter routine built around separating liquid from solid waste? This format supports that approach: scoop solids daily and replace the lower-tray urine pad regularly.

Best use cases

Use these pellets in a double-layer litter box or another sifting system with a urine pad beneath the litter tray. Liquid passes through the pellets to the lower layer, while the non-clumping formula keeps the upper tray from turning into clumps. That makes the product a purpose-made refill for a system that separates waste by layer, rather than a conventional clumping litter intended for a single-layer box.

For everyday indoor use, the maintenance routine is straightforward: remove solid waste from the top tray each day and change the lower pad as needed. The unscented pellets suit homes where fragrance-free litter is preferred, and the two-bag bundle gives you a ready refill supply.

Where it shines

The main distinction is the way this litter works with a double-layer box: the pellets stay in the upper tray while liquid drains to a pad below. Compared with choosing a clumping litter for a standard single-layer pan, this refill makes more sense when your box is designed to separate liquid and solid waste. Its cylindrical pellets are also designed to reduce dust and tracking, and the porous zeolite is intended to help trap ammonia odors without added scent.

Buyer feedback on effectiveness is generally positive, while experiences with odor control, absorbency, dust, and value vary. That mix is useful context when choosing a litter system: the box-and-pad setup is central to how these pellets are intended to be used, and regular scooping is part of the routine.

Final verdict

Gardner Pet’s 7 lb bundle is a focused choice for cat owners already using a double-layer or sifting litter box and looking for unscented, non-clumping mineral pellets. Its pass-through design, zeolite content, and two-bag format support a simple separation-based routine: solid waste is scooped from above, while liquid drains to the pad below.
