FUKUMARU CL08-3-US Tofu Cat Litter, Cassava Blend, Clumping, 18 lb

Made with tofu fiber and cassava starch, FUKUMARU CL08-3-US is a plant-based pellet litter in an 18 lb pack. Its cassava-enhanced blend helps form firmer clumps for easier scooping. A light gardenia fragrance adds a fresh floral note to the litter area.

Why it makes sense

For daily litter box care, the blend is designed to bind moisture into clumps that hold together during scooping. That can make routine cleanup more straightforward, with less crumbling as you remove used litter. The pellets are made from plant-based tofu fibers and cassava-based materials, offering a different material choice from traditional clay litter.

The formula also combines moisture absorption with odor control, while the gentle gardenia scent brings a light floral character to the space. Multi-stage screening helps reduce loose dust when pouring and scooping, which supports a tidier litter area. The package contains 18 lb, supplied as three 6 lb packs, so the litter can be handled in smaller bags as you refill the box.

Highlights

Cassava starch supports firm clumping, and the pellet structure is designed for comfortable paw feel. Together, these details suit a routine in which you scoop regularly and want clumps that are easier to lift from the box. Plant-based fibers absorb moisture and help manage litter box odors, the light gardenia fragrance provides an additional fresh scent without being described as overpowering.

Buyers often praise the clumping and ease of cleanup, and some appreciate the litter’s flushability. Opinions on odor control and tracking are mixed, so those experiences can vary from home to home. The product is made with water-soluble plant fibers, but flushing should be limited to small amounts and done only where local regulations and plumbing allow. For other disposal, follow local requirements.

Care tips

When introducing this litter to a cat, a gradual transition is recommended: mix a small amount with the current litter, then increase the proportion over time. This gives the cat time to adjust to the new material and pellet format. During regular maintenance, scoop the formed clumps and replenish the box as needed. If choosing to flush, use only small amounts and make sure local rules and plumbing permit it.

Buying verdict

FUKUMARU’s cassava-and-tofu blend is a practical choice for cat owners who want plant-based pellet litter with firm clumping and a light gardenia scent. Compared with choosing litter mainly for a clay-based formula, this option puts the focus on plant-based materials, easier scooping, and a low-dust screening process. Its three 6 lb packs offer a convenient way to handle the 18 lb supply during refills. It suits you if you want a plant-based litter for everyday box care and value a pellet format that supports straightforward scooping.
