Filter King FKFB20X20-12 20x20x1 Air Filters, MERV 8, 12-Pack

When it’s time to replace a residential air conditioner or furnace filter, the Filter King 20x20x1 MERV 8 pack provides twelve pleated replacements for routine home maintenance. Its nominal size is 20 x 20 x 1 inches, with an actual size of 19.5 x 19.5 x .75 inches.

Want a filter designed to capture airborne particles while fitting a familiar slide-in setup? This model combines a MERV 8 rating with a pleated polypropylene construction for residential HVAC use.

The twelve-filter format keeps replacements together, making it easier to plan ahead instead of shopping for one filter at a time. Customers also describe the filters as effective and note that they perform comparably to name-brand options, those are buyer impressions, not a performance guarantee.

Compatibility & requirements

These filters are intended for residential air conditioners and furnaces. They use a slide-in mounting style, so they work as replacement filters in systems designed for this size and format. The nominal 20 x 20 x 1-inch label helps identify the filter category, the actual dimensions are 19.5 x 19.5 x .75 inches. For installation, open the filter access, slide the replacement into the slot, and close the access panel.

Getting the most from it

The pleated design is made to capture airborne particles, and the MERV 8 rating identifies the filter’s efficiency category. That makes this pack a practical choice for regular residential filter changes focused on dust and allergy control. It offers a straightforward alternative to buying single replacements as needed: with twelve filters in one pack, you can keep the next change on hand.

For 1-inch filters, the manufacturer recommends replacement every 30 to 90 days and says these filters can last up to 90 days. Following a regular replacement schedule helps maintain the filter routine for an air conditioner or heater. The right timing depends on your household’s maintenance plan, so use the recommended interval as a guide when organizing replacements.

Final verdict

The Filter King FKFB20X20-12 is a useful fit for households that need a residential 20 x 20-inch nominal replacement for an air conditioner or furnace and want several filters ready for scheduled changes. Its MERV 8 rating, pleated construction, slide-in format, and twelve-count pack make it easy to identify and keep on hand for routine home HVAC maintenance.
