EasyCom 151-LDH SGDZ48 Brown Dog Crate Furniture, 47.24-Inch

If you need an indoor crate for a large dog—or a shared space for two dogs—this EasyCom furniture-style kennel combines a roomy enclosure with a surface for your living area.

Its brown wood-and-metal design can serve as a TV stand or side table, helping the crate fit into a furnished room instead of taking up space as a standalone cage. The side door can be installed on either side to suit your layout.

Want a setup that supports everyday routines as well as your room’s look? Pre-assembled components and raised feet make this crate practical to place and clean around.

Who it’s for

This crate is suited to households looking for a substantial indoor space for one or two dogs, with dimensions of 47.24 x 28.35 x 37.01 inches. The roomy interior is designed to let dogs stand and turn around, while the front and side doors provide two access points. Since the side door can be positioned on the left or right, you can adapt the entry to a wall, TV unit, or other furniture arrangement.

It also suits people who want dog furniture to serve more than one purpose. The top can be used as a TV stand or side table for decorations and storage, giving the crate a place in a living room or another indoor space. Buyers often highlight its size and fit in shared living areas, including under TVs, and some say it accommodates multiple pets comfortably.

Strengths

The construction pairs metal and wood, with 0.5-inch metal pipes, thicker wooden boards, and an added load-bearing metal tube beneath the base. These materials and reinforced elements give the enclosure a substantial furniture-style structure. Its lockable feature helps keep the doors closed when needed, customer feedback on latch quality is mixed, so it is worth considering how the closures suit your dogs and routine.

Assembly is designed to be straightforward: the crate arrives 90% pre-assembled, with four large frames left for setup and step-by-step instructions. Customers also frequently describe assembly as easy. For regular floor care, 5.12-inch raised feet leave clearance for a sweeping robot to pass underneath, making it easier to clean around the crate without moving it.

Highlights

The adjustable side-door position is useful when the crate needs to sit beside a wall or existing furniture. Choose the left- or right-side opening to match the room, while the wide front door gives dogs another way in and out. That flexibility is especially helpful when planning a permanent spot for a large piece of dog furniture.

The brown finish and simple, retro-inspired look are designed to work with different décor styles. At 104 pounds, the unit has a substantial presence, so it makes sense to plan its placement before assembly. Its dimensions also help clarify how it will occupy a room: it measures 47.24 inches long, 28.35 inches wide, and 37.01 inches high. Customers commonly praise the spacious feel and practical furniture format, while opinions about the latches vary.

Is it worth it?

It makes sense if you want an indoor dog crate that can also function as a TV stand or side table, rather than choosing a kennel with only one role. The combination of a large interior, front and repositionable side access, pre-assembled components, and clearance for floor cleaning supports everyday use in a shared living space. For homes with one or two dogs where room layout matters, this EasyCom crate brings the dogs’ enclosure and a piece of usable furniture together in one footprint.
