DONORO SPC Soft-Sided Dog Crate, 36 x 23 x 28 in., Foldable Mesh Design

Pet owners looking for a portable, enclosed space for a medium-sized dog can set up the DONORO SPC indoors or take it along for trips. Its 36 x 23 x 28-inch size offers a defined area for resting at home or while traveling.

A flexible steel-wire frame gives the soft-sided crate its pop-up structure, so it opens without assembly and folds flat for carrying or storage. That makes it a practical alternative to a rigid kennel when portability and compact storage matter.

The 600D Oxford cloth body, mesh panels, and removable pad bring together a covered resting space, ventilation, and a washable surface for everyday use.

Key features

The three-door design gives pets access through multiple openings, while high-density mesh panels support airflow and visibility. Zipper closures let you open or secure the entry points as needed. Reinforced corners and protected seams add structure to the fabric enclosure, and the water-resistant material suits indoor use as well as outings.

The included removable pad provides a soft base and can be washed separately. When the crate is not needed, the flexible wire frame folds flat, making it easier to store or bring along than a fixed-frame kennel. Its black finish and soft-sided construction also make it a useful choice for creating a familiar resting spot in different settings.

Buyers often appreciate the crate’s portability and foldability for road trips, and some find the size useful for growing puppies. Feedback on sturdiness and zipper durability is mixed, so treat the zippers as the working closures and operate them with care.

Care & maintenance

Hand wash the crate and let it air dry, avoid twisting the fabric during cleaning. The removable pad is washable, which makes it easier to refresh the pet’s resting area without washing the entire kennel. When it is clean and dry, fold the frame flat for storage or transport.

Best use cases

Use the DONORO SPC as an indoor resting area, a temporary pet space at a campsite, or a travel crate for car trips and day outings. The pop-up frame is useful when you want a kennel that can be set up at your destination and put away afterward. Mesh panels provide visibility and ventilation while your pet relaxes inside.

Before choosing the size, compare the crate’s listed dimensions with your pet’s measurements and resting posture. The manufacturer’s guidance is to allow enough room for a pet to stand, turn around, and lie down comfortably. This is especially helpful when selecting a crate for a growing dog or planning to use it as a regular resting space.

Is it worth it?

For pet owners who need a portable crate rather than a permanently assembled enclosure, the SPC combines a fold-flat steel-wire frame with a soft 600D Oxford cloth body and a removable pad. Those details make it suitable for moving between home, car trips, and outdoor stays without committing to a rigid kennel. It’s a great fit if you want a ventilated, pop-up space for your pet that can be folded away when the outing is over.
