Powools USGL001-BL Heavy-Duty Dog Crate, Double Doors and Lockable Wheels

At 41.5" x 26.2" x 30.5", this metal Powools dog crate offers a defined space for large dogs at home or outdoors. Its reinforced steel frame, double doors, dual spring latches, and six lockable caster wheels combine sturdy construction with practical access and placement options.

For a crate that stays in one spot, a fixed design may suit the setup, if you want to reposition the crate, the lockable wheels make that task more convenient while helping keep it in place once positioned.

Technical overview

The USGL001-BL is designed for large dogs, with Labrador Retrievers, German Shepherds, and Golden Retrievers listed as breed recommendations. The chew-resistant construction uses heavy-gauge steel and a reinforced frame, providing a solid enclosure for everyday use. A rust-resistant coating and removable bottom tray help contain spills and make routine cleanup more manageable.

• Material: Metal with a reinforced steel frame
• Doors: Two
• Latches: Dual spring latches
• Mobility: Six lockable caster wheels

The two-door layout gives you more than one access point when arranging the crate in a room or choosing where your dog enters. The spring latches are designed to keep the doors closed while remaining straightforward for an owner to operate. Lock the casters after positioning the crate to keep it from rolling during use.

Practical tips

Measure your dog before choosing a crate. As a sizing guide, add about 4" to your dog’s measured length and height to allow room for comfortable movement. The listed dimensions can help you compare the crate with your available floor space and your dog’s measurements before setting it up.

Assembly is designed to be simple, with fewer components to put together. When introducing the crate, make the first visits familiar and low-pressure: place a chew toy inside and leave the door unlocked at first. Once your dog has had time to adjust, you can use the door-lock function. This gradual introduction can help your pet get used to the space at its own pace.

For everyday care, slide out the removable tray to clean spills and messes, then return it to the base. That arrangement helps keep debris off the floor and makes the crate easier to maintain between cleanings. Whether you set it up indoors or use it outdoors, choose a level location and lock the wheels after positioning it.

Included in the package

A removable tray is included to catch spills and simplify cleanup. The crate’s doors and caster wheels are built into the design, so you can use the access points and move the assembled unit as needed. Check the listed dimensions against your planned location before assembly to make sure the crate fits the space you have in mind.
