FDW Dog Crate, Model FDW: 30-Inch Foldable Metal Kennel with Divider

The foldable metal frame makes this FDW dog crate easy to move between rooms or take along for travel, while its removable, leak-proof tray helps keep cleanup straightforward. A divider, single door, and dual latches add practical features for everyday use at home or during training.

At 30 x 18 x 20 inches, the black wire crate is recommended for small and medium dogs. It folds flat to 3 inches for carrying or storage when it’s not set up.

Key features

The metal wire construction is designed for indoor and outdoor use, and the crate weighs 10 pounds. Its foldable format offers a useful alternative to a kennel that stays set up in one place: use it at home, then fold it down when you need to move it or make room. The included divider lets you adjust the interior arrangement, while the single door has dual latches for securing it closed.

A removable plastic tray sits at the base and is described as leak-proof. Slide it out to wipe or rinse away spills, shedding, or other messes instead of cleaning the crate floor in place. The tray and wire design make this a practical setup for a dog’s everyday indoor space, with a portable format for travel or visits to the vet.

Practical tips

The crate is designed to fold and set up without tools, making it convenient when you need a portable enclosure for a road trip, a change of rooms, or temporary use at home. When folded, its listed thickness is 3 inches, so it can be carried or stored more compactly than when assembled. For a dog’s space, the listed dimensions are 30 x 18 x 20 inches, choose the crate with your dog’s size and the way you plan to use the divider in mind.

For cleanup, remove the plastic tray and wipe or rinse it before putting it back in place. The one-door layout keeps access to the crate straightforward, and the dual latches are part of the door’s closing design.

Who it’s for

This FDW kennel is suited to dog owners looking for a foldable wire crate for small or medium breeds, with a divider and a removable tray for practical day-to-day care. It can serve as a designated indoor space for training or rest, or be folded for travel and visits where a portable crate is useful. It suits you if you want one crate that can move between home use and trips rather than a setup intended to stay in a single spot.

Buyer feedback highlights ease of assembly and functionality, while comments on sturdiness and construction are mixed. Some buyers also report that the door latches can be difficult to open and close. These impressions vary, so the concrete features to weigh for your routine are the fold-flat frame, divider, single-door access, and removable tray.

Buying verdict

Choose this crate when portability and easy cleanup are central to how you’ll use it. The fold-flat metal frame supports moving it between locations, and the removable leak-proof tray makes routine care more direct. With its divider and dimensions of 30 x 18 x 20 inches, it brings useful everyday features together in a compact dog kennel for home, training, and travel.
