LE SURE 42-Inch XL Soft Dog Crate, 4-Door Foldable Travel Kennel

Some dogs need a familiar spot at home, others need a crate that can travel and pack away afterward. The LE SURE soft-sided XL crate is designed for indoor and outdoor use. Its foldable frame, breathable mesh sides, and portable format support a flexible setup. At 42 x 28 x 30 inches, it provides a dedicated space for resting on trips or at home.

The essentials

A sturdy iron frame gives this soft-sided crate its structure, while four zippered mesh sides support airflow and visibility. The four-door design offers access from different sides, which can be useful when arranging the crate in a room, vehicle, or campsite. A self-locking zipper system and integrated leash add practical containment features, and reflective strips on both sides help make the crate more visible.

The included plush mat gives your dog a cushioned place to settle. When the crate is not in use, its frame folds into a compact package for storage and transport, a storage bag is provided for carrying it on outings. The black finish keeps the look simple across indoor and outdoor settings. A fixed kennel may suit a setup that stays in one place, while this foldable design is aimed at households that want to move or store their dog’s space between uses.

How to take care of it

For everyday cleanup, wipe the water-resistant fabric with a damp cloth. The removable mat can be machine-washed, making it easier to refresh the resting area separately. After use, fold the frame for storage or transport. These straightforward care steps suit a crate that moves between home and travel, where fur and everyday dirt can build up over time.

Everyday use

At home, the crate can provide a familiar resting spot in a chosen room. For car trips, camping, or other travel, its portable frame and foldable construction make it easier to bring along than a kennel intended to remain set up in one location. The mesh panels let air circulate and allow your dog to see beyond the crate, while the mat creates a defined place to lie down. Set the crate on a stable surface and use the integrated leash as an additional containment feature.

Buyers commonly praise the crate’s setup, portability, roomy feel, and ability to fold for storage, including in motorhomes. Feedback on durability and zipper quality is mixed, so those comments are best treated as individual experiences rather than a guarantee of how the crate will hold up. The product’s own practical strengths are its collapsible frame, mesh-sided layout, and removable mat for care.

When it makes sense

This crate is a practical fit for dog owners who want one portable space for both home routines and outings, rather than a kennel that stays permanently assembled. Its 42-inch size, four-door access, breathable mesh, and fold-away frame bring together the features that matter when a dog needs a familiar place to rest in more than one setting. It makes sense if portability and easy storage are central to how you plan to use a crate.
