DZVW A5 14-Inch Laptop Screen Extender, FHD 1080p IPS Display

For remote workers and travelers who need a second screen alongside a laptop, the DZVW A5 adds a 14-inch display in a portable extender format. Need to keep a document visible while joining a video meeting or checking reference material? Choose extend, mirror, or portrait mode to arrange the view around your task. Its matte FHD IPS screen is designed for work, study, and entertainment on the go.

Pros

The 1920 x 1080 resolution gives documents, presentations, and videos a clear Full HD canvas. IPS technology and a 178-degree viewing angle make the screen easier to share with someone beside you, while the matte surface helps reduce reflections in bright workspaces. A 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300-nit brightness, and 63% sRGB color gamut round out the display specifications.

The A5 supports extend, mirror, and portrait modes, so you can choose how the extra screen fits into a workflow. Keep a spreadsheet or reference page open beside your main laptop display, mirror content for viewing, or use portrait orientation for a tall page. At 14 inches, it adds screen space without requiring a separate desktop monitor setup.

Setup options depend on the laptop’s ports: use a single USB-C connection when the laptop has a full-function USB-C port, or connect through HDMI and USB-A. The product description says the necessary cables are included and that setup is plug and play, with no software or drivers required. It is intended for laptops from 13 to 17 inches with a screen length of 11.81 to 16.14 inches, and supports Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Linux, and Android.

Key takeaways

This extender is suited to flexible work areas where a laptop is the main computer and a second view can make multitasking more practical. For example, at a hotel desk, a traveler can keep a work document on the laptop and place meeting notes or reference material on the extender. The 16:9 screen format and Full HD resolution also suit presentations and video viewing, while the 60 Hz refresh rate is specified for everyday display use.

Compared with choosing a separate desktop monitor for a fixed workstation, this laptop extender is built around portable, laptop-centered use. Buyers frequently praise its straightforward setup, portability, and clear display, and describe it as useful for remote work and study. Those comments reflect customer impressions, the listed screen resolution and connection options provide the concrete details for choosing how it fits your setup.

Practical tips

Before connecting, identify whether your laptop’s USB-C port supports video output, the single-cable setup is intended for full-function USB-C. If not, use the HDMI and USB-A connection method described for devices without that port. Match the extender to a laptop within the stated 13-to-17-inch range and screen-length range of 11.81 to 16.14 inches. For desk work, select extend mode to keep separate content on each screen, mirror or portrait modes are available when those layouts suit the task better.

Buying verdict

The DZVW A5 brings a 14-inch FHD IPS display, three viewing modes, and flexible connection options to a travel-friendly laptop setup. It is a practical match for people who work, study, or present from different locations and want a second screen for documents, meetings, or media. The one-year manufacturer warranty adds a defined support period, while the matte display and Full HD resolution make the screen useful for everyday work and viewing.
