DOOOB No1 Cat Fountain Filters, 16-Pack with Carbon Filters and Sponges

This 16-piece replacement set contains 8 carbon filters and 8 sponges for cat water fountains. The filter materials include activated carbon and nonwovens, and the product is listed for fountains with 67oz/2L and 108oz/3.2L capacities. That makes it a refill option to consider if those sizes match your fountain, rather than a complete water dispenser.

The listing also describes compatibility with most stainless steel cat fountains, but fit is not universal. Check your fountain’s filter shape and size before choosing this multipack.

Key takeaways

The carbon filter uses a nonwoven layer, activated carbon, and ion exchange resin. It is intended to help reduce odor and soften water, while the separate sponge is designed to catch hair, dirt, and food particles. These are filtration aims, not a promise that every fountain will produce the same result.

Buyer feedback is positive about ease of installation and catching debris, but reports on fit are mixed. Some buyers say the filters are too small or do not align with their fountain. Compared with a replacement specified for one exact fountain model, this multipack may suit shoppers whose fountain matches the stated sizes, but the compatibility details matter more than the pack count.

How to take care of it

Before installing a carbon filter, soak it in a separate bowl for 5 minutes and rinse it for 30 seconds. The product instructions say to replace both the carbon filter and sponge every 1–2 weeks, depending on how often the fountain is used and how many pets drink from it. They also recommend cleaning the fountain pump. Following those steps helps address loose carbon dust and routine debris, the listing notes that the dust will not harm your pet.

Getting the most from it

Match the replacement filter to the fountain’s holder, not just its general category. The listed capacities—67oz/2L and 108oz/3.2L—give you a starting point, while the claim of compatibility with most stainless steel fountains is broad rather than model-specific. If your fountain uses a particular filter outline or locking position, compare that against the replacement before ordering.

What matters more for your setup: a larger supply of refills or a confirmed fit? This pack makes sense when its filter format matches your fountain and you want both carbon filters and sponges on hand. Worth considering if your current setup uses the listed filter type and sizes. Better avoided if you cannot establish a match: buyer reports include both successful fits and filters that were too small or misaligned.

What to clarify

What is included? The pack contains 8 cat fountain filters and 8 sponges, for 16 pieces total.

What are the filters designed to catch or address? The carbon filter is intended to help with odor and water quality, while the sponge is designed to trap hair, dirt, and food particles.

Will they fit a specific fountain? The listing names 67oz/2L and 108oz/3.2L fountains and says they fit most stainless steel models. Since buyer experiences with fit differ, compare the filter’s shape and placement with your fountain before buying.

Is it worth it?

This DOOOB set is a practical refill choice when the stated fountain sizes and filter format match your equipment. Its split of carbon filters and sponges covers two parts of the fountain’s filtration setup, and the use instructions provide a clear replacement routine. The main decision point is fit: if your fountain needs a model-specific shape, a replacement identified for that exact dispenser is the safer route. If the format matches, this multipack offers a ready supply without requiring you to replace the fountain itself.
