Glittme YB003922-XL Cat Litter Mat, 40" x 30" PVC, Washable and Non-Slip

A litter-area mat can be a simple catch zone, or it can cover more floor around the box and give you a washable surface to clean. The Glittme YB003922-XL is the larger 40" x 30" version, made from PVC with a mesh-style top intended to catch scattered litter and a non-slip, waterproof backing.

It’s designed to sit beneath a litter box and collect litter tracked out as a cat steps away. The machine-washable material and loose litter that can be tipped or vacuumed away make cleanup part of the everyday routine.

Best use cases

This size is intended to cover the floor beneath a litter box, including covered and self-cleaning styles, and provide a defined landing area for loose litter. You’ll appreciate it if you want a mat that can be vacuumed between washes and has a washable care option rather than relying on a surface that can only be wiped down.

Customer feedback is generally favorable about catching litter, working beneath larger litter pans, and being easy to vacuum or wash. The carpet-like appearance is another plus mentioned by buyers. There are mixed reports about the size, though: some find it spacious, while others say it does not cover enough area for two litter boxes. If you need a mat for multiple boxes, compare the available floor area with the 40" x 30" dimensions before choosing.

Tips for day-to-day use

Place the mat under the box so the area where your cat exits lands on its surface. Loose litter can be tipped into the trash or vacuumed away, for a deeper clean, the product details describe rinsing it with a hose and letting it air-dry. Machine washing is also listed as a care option. These choices give you more than one way to handle routine debris, although the care instructions do not specify wash settings.

The base is described as non-slip and waterproof, which may help keep the mat in place and protect the floor from accidental splashes. How well it stays put is not consistent in buyer feedback: some say it does not shift, while others find the grip weaker than expected. Reports on durability are mixed as well, including complaints about tearing or fraying. Does that matter for your setup? It is worth factoring in if the mat will see frequent movement or rough use.

Is it worth it?

The Glittme mat makes sense if you want a broad, washable surface to catch litter around one box and prefer having vacuuming, rinsing, and machine washing listed as cleanup options. It offers a different approach from a small, wipe-clean tray: more floor coverage, with loose litter collected on the mat itself. Not the best choice if you need confirmed coverage for two boxes or want buyer feedback that is consistently positive on grip and long-term durability. Check the footprint you need against its stated dimensions, then weigh the cleaning options against those mixed reports.
