Whksoy CW-01 Cat Fountain Filters, 10 Filters and 10 Pre-Filter Sponges

Some fountain owners want replacement filters on hand for routine changes, others need to confirm an exact fit before buying a multi-piece pack. These Whksoy CW-01 replacements include both filters and pre-filter sponges.

The listing identifies them for certain adjustable-flow stainless steel fountains in 108oz/3.2L and 67oz/2L sizes. Compatibility with your specific fountain is the key detail to check.

The pack contains 10 filters and 10 sponges. That gives you matching replacement pieces for the fountain’s filtration setup, rather than filters alone.

The product description says the filter media helps remove impurities and odors, while the sponges catch pet hair, dust, and food scraps. These are intended functions, not a guarantee that every fountain or water condition will produce the same result. The listing also describes the filters as compatible with a variety of fountains, but does not provide a full model-by-model compatibility list in the supplied details.

Requirements

Match the replacement to the fountain’s filter compartment, not just its capacity. The listed 108oz/3.2L and 67oz/2L sizes help narrow down the fit, but the listing advises checking its product images for compatibility. Buyer feedback is mixed on fit: some report a good match, while others say the filters do not align with their fountain or are too small for its filter box. That makes compartment shape and dimensions important considerations when the fountain is not clearly identified as compatible.

It suits you if your fountain matches the listed type and size and you want both replacement filters and pre-filter sponges in one pack. It may not suit you if you cannot confirm that the filter shape fits your fountain, reported fit and size experiences vary.

How to use it

Before first use, rinse a filter under running water, as directed in the product instructions. Fit it into the fountain according to the fountain’s own setup, then place the pre-filter sponge in its intended position. The supplied details recommend cleaning the filter every 2 to 4 weeks and replacing it every 2 to 4 weeks. Follow the fountain’s care instructions as well, since this listing does not specify a separate installation method for every compatible model.

In everyday use, the filter and sponge serve different roles: the filter media is described as addressing impurities and odors, while the sponge helps catch larger debris such as fur and food scraps. Buyers commonly describe installation and replacement as straightforward and say the filters help keep water fresh. Reports on how long they last differ, so the suggested replacement interval is a more useful planning guide than assuming one filter will last a fixed amount of time.

Is it worth it?

This pack makes more sense for a fountain owner who has already confirmed the replacement dimensions and wants filters and sponges together. Compared with buying filters without pre-filter sponges, the included sponge set provides both components described for the fountain’s filtration routine. It also gives you multiple replacements on hand, though the supplied information does not establish how long the entire pack will last, that depends on the replacement schedule.

Buyer opinions are positive about ease of use and water freshness, but not unanimous about fit or filter lifespan. The main purchase decision is therefore compatibility, not a broad claim that these replacements suit every cat fountain. If your fountain matches the listed specifications, the combined set is a practical choice, if its filter compartment is uncertain, a replacement explicitly matched to that fountain model is the safer approach.
