Depuley WS-FPZ188-35C-BK-AP 42-Inch Ceiling Fan with Light, Remote and Dual-Finish Blades
Product description
Five reversible walnut-and-black blades give this Depuley ceiling fan two finish options in one design, while the caged light adds a rustic industrial detail. The 42-inch fan combines six speeds, a remote control, and reversible rotation, making it a practical choice for everyday airflow and year-round use in compatible indoor spaces or a covered porch.
Two E26 sockets let you choose bulbs to suit your room, and the included 5-inch and 10-inch downrods provide mounting flexibility.
Key features
The dual-finish blades let you display either the walnut or black side, so the fan can coordinate with farmhouse, rustic, or industrial decor. Five blades sit beneath a cage-style fixture with two built-in E26 sockets. E26 LED, energy-saving, and smart bulbs are supported, with a maximum power of 60W, bulbs are sold separately, and the fixture is not compatible with dimmer devices.
Use the remote to choose among six fan speeds, set a 1-, 2-, or 4-hour timer, or switch the motor’s rotation direction. Reversible rotation supports seasonal airflow preferences, while the DC brushless motor and remote controls keep daily operation straightforward. The fan is rated at 45 watts. Buyers commonly praise its quiet operation, airflow, and remote convenience, feedback on stability and functionality is mixed.
Size & fit
The fan measures 42 inches across and 14 inches high, with a 42-inch depth. It is designed for downrod mounting and includes 5-inch and 10-inch downrods. The product information lists flat and inclined mounting for ceilings angled less than 15 degrees. Choose the mounting arrangement that suits the ceiling and room layout, and follow the installation guide for setup.
Its size and farmhouse-inspired styling suit living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, studies, and covered outdoor porches or patios. The enclosed cage gives the light a defined visual presence, while the reversible blade finish lets you tune the look without changing the fan.
Practical tips
Select compatible E26 bulbs with the fixture’s 60W maximum in mind, and choose a bulb type that fits the lighting needs of the room. Since dimmer devices are not compatible, use the fan’s remote for its supported fan controls and timer settings. For a covered porch, position the fan within the protected area and use the downrod length that works with the installation and ceiling height.
For a typical evening in a bedroom or living room, the remote lets you adjust airflow from your seat, set a timer, and use the light sockets in the same fixture. To adapt the fan for seasonal use, select the rotation direction that suits your preferred airflow.
