Obabala HY-QWABS001-60-003-3 60-Inch Ceiling Fan, White, No Lights

For a patio or living room that needs broad air circulation, this 60-inch Obabala ceiling fan pairs a reversible DC motor with six speed settings and remote control. Its white, three-blade design keeps the focus on moving air, without adding a light fixture to the ceiling.

Choose it for indoor or outdoor use when adjustable airflow matters more than built-in lighting. The remote makes it easy to change speeds from where you are, while reversible rotation supports seasonal airflow needs.

Highlights

The 60-inch fan uses three ABS blades and a DC motor rated at 43 watts. It is listed with an airflow capacity of 5,500 CFM and a noise level of 35 dB, giving shoppers concrete details to compare when choosing a fan for a larger room or patio. Six speed settings let you tailor the airflow, from a gentler breeze to a stronger circulation setting.

The reversible motor adds flexibility across seasons: reverse the blade direction to circulate warm air in winter, or use the fan for a refreshing breeze in summer. A remote control operates the fan, so speed changes do not require reaching for a wall-mounted control. Its white finish suits spaces where a lighter ceiling fixture is a better fit than a dark, statement-making design.

Best use cases

This model is listed for indoor and outdoor use, with suggested rooms including bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms, dorm rooms, and garages. Its 60-inch size and stated airflow capacity make it a practical choice when the goal is to circulate air across a room or covered patio. For a space that needs lighting as well as airflow, a fan with an integrated light serves a different purpose, this Obabala model is designed without lights for shoppers who want a dedicated ceiling fan.

Everyday use

Use the remote to select one of the six speeds as the room’s needs change. A lower setting can suit quieter everyday circulation, while a faster setting can provide more noticeable airflow during gatherings or warmer conditions. Reversing the motor direction gives the fan a role in both warm- and cold-weather routines, rather than limiting it to summer use.

The listed installation type is DIY, and the components named include an extension rod, fan blade, motor, and remote. Buyers often praise the quiet operation, airflow, and convenience of remote control. Feedback on the instructions is mixed, so setting aside time to follow the installation steps carefully can help keep setup organized.

Practical questions

Does this fan include a light? No. It is identified as a ceiling fan without lights, making it suited to a setup where lighting is handled separately.

How do you change the fan speed? Use the included remote control to select among six speed settings, allowing airflow to be adjusted from a seated or standing position.

Can it be used in different seasons? Yes. The motor is reversible, allowing the blade direction to be changed for summer airflow or winter air circulation.

Final verdict

The Obabala 60-inch fan is a strong fit for shoppers who want a remote-controlled, reversible ceiling fan for a living room, bedroom, garage, or patio. Its six speeds, stated 5,500 CFM airflow capacity, and no-light design make it especially useful when the priority is adjustable air circulation rather than an all-in-one fan and light fixture.
