LuminFan FS-8916D-46-01 46-Inch Boho Ceiling Fan with Light
Product description
For a bedroom or dining area that needs both overhead lighting and air circulation, the LuminFan FS-8916D-46-01 pairs a 46-inch ceiling fan with a caged rattan-inspired look. Its five double-sided wooden blades show black on one side and oak on the other, giving you a choice of finish. Would you rather adjust the fan from the couch or from your phone? Both remote and app control are available.
Everyday use
Use the six-speed settings to adjust airflow for everyday activities, from relaxing in the bedroom to gathering around the dining table. The reversible DC motor lets you switch between downdraft airflow for summer and updraft airflow for winter using the remote or app. A quarter-hour timer-off function offers another convenient control for routines when you want the fan to turn off after a set interval.
The farmhouse-style cage and bohemian blade design bring a decorative element to the room as well as practical airflow. This model is listed for indoor use, with bedroom, dining room, and living room settings fitting its intended role. Its downrod mount is the installation style to plan for when selecting a ceiling fan for your space.

What you’ll notice day to day
Remote and app operation provide two ways to manage fan speed, direction, and the light, so you can choose the control that suits the moment. To use the app, scan the QR code in the manual, download the app, and pair it with the fan. The remote is ready as an alternative for everyday adjustments without using a phone.
The reversible blades make it easier to coordinate the fan with different room finishes: choose the black side for a darker accent or the oak side for a warmer wood tone. That detail is useful when the fixture needs to complement existing furniture rather than blend into a single fixed palette. Compared with a fan controlled only by a basic wall switch, this model adds app access and a remote, along with six speed settings and seasonal direction changes.
Questions before you buy
Can I change the fan direction for different seasons? Yes. The reversible DC motor supports downdraft mode for summer and updraft mode for winter, with direction changes available through the remote or app.
How do I set up app control? Scan the QR code in the manual, download the app, and pair it with the fan. The remote control is also provided for operating the fan and light.
What comes with the fan? The listed included components are the ceiling fan, light kit, and remote. The fan uses a downrod mount, which is the mounting style to account for when planning installation.
Buying verdict
Choose the LuminFan FS-8916D-46-01 for an indoor bedroom, dining room, or living room where adjustable airflow, a light kit, and flexible controls matter as much as the fixture’s appearance. Its reversible black-and-oak blades, six speeds, seasonal direction settings, and remote and app operation make it a practical fit for rooms that benefit from both everyday comfort and a distinctive boho farmhouse accent.
