Dell Business Laptop, 16-inch touchscreen

For professionals, students, and home-office users who keep several everyday tasks moving at once, this Dell business laptop pairs a large touch display with 32GB of memory and Windows 11 Pro. It’s set up for documents, browser tabs, video meetings, and the usual mix of work apps, with a backlit keyboard for dimmer rooms.

The 16-inch screen gives you more room to work than a compact laptop, while touch input offers another way to navigate. What’s less clear from the listing? How easy the slim design is to carry day to day, since no weight is provided.

Best use cases

This configuration makes the most sense for office and school routines: drafting a report, keeping reference pages open beside a spreadsheet, or joining a video call while switching between documents. The 16:10 FHD+ display offers a little more vertical workspace than a traditional 16:9 screen, which can help when reading or editing longer pages. Touch is useful for quick taps and scrolling, though it doesn’t replace the keyboard and trackpad for sustained typing.

You’ll appreciate it if you want a Windows 11 Pro laptop with substantial memory and SSD storage for a busy everyday workflow. For example, you can move from a spreadsheet to a meeting window and back to a document without choosing a machine built around a smaller screen. It may not suit you if your priority is a very light carry or if you need confirmed performance details for graphics-heavy work, those specifics aren’t included here.

Product specs

The laptop uses an Intel Core 7 150U processor with 10 cores, 32GB of DDR5 memory, and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Its 16-inch, 16:10 FHD+ touchscreen has a 1920 x 1200 resolution, a 300-nit rating, WVA/IPS technology, anti-glare treatment, and ComfortView. The system runs Windows 11 Pro.

Other listed details include a backlit keyboard with an AI Copilot hotkey, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, and an audio connection. The slim design is mentioned, but no weight is given, so its day-to-day portability is hard to judge without that measurement. Battery life and graphics specifications also aren’t stated, which matters if you’re comparing it with a laptop for long stretches away from an outlet or specialized visual workloads.

Where it shines

The appeal is in the combination: a relatively roomy touch display, 32GB of memory, and 1TB of storage in a laptop described for business and everyday productivity. The backlit keyboard is a practical detail for typing at a desk in the evening, and the listed ports give you options for connecting accessories or an external display. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth cover common wireless needs, though the listing doesn’t specify more about their implementation.

Compared with a basic laptop focused on browsing and light document work, this one gives you more memory and storage to work with. That extra capacity may be useful when your day involves many open tabs and apps, it doesn’t, by itself, confirm how the laptop handles demanding creative software. If that is your main workload, look for specific graphics and performance information before choosing.

Should you buy it?

Consider this Dell if your regular routine is built around Windows productivity, video calls, documents, and multitasking, and you value a 16-inch touchscreen with a backlit keyboard. The listed memory and SSD capacity are clear advantages for keeping a broad set of everyday work files and apps on hand.

Skip it if portability is your deciding factor and you need a known weight, or if your purchase depends on battery-life or graphics details that aren’t provided. For a desk-based work or study setup, its stated configuration fits the brief, for travel-heavy use or specialized workloads, the missing details make a more fully specified alternative easier to assess.
