The extended format creates a shared surface for a keyboard, mouse, and other small desk items. Compared with a compact mouse pad, this layout gives both keyboard and mouse a consistent mat beneath them and helps keep the desktop visually organized. The smooth surface is designed for mouse tracking and works with laser and optical mice. A 3-millimeter profile provides a mat across the desk without adding a bulky layer.

Practical tips

Place the mat on a flat, hard desktop so its rubber base can grip the surface. Position the keyboard and mouse where they are most comfortable, with enough space for the mouse to move across the mat. The stitched edges add reinforcement around the perimeter, and the pad can be rolled up for storage or moving between work areas.

The waterproof coating helps handle everyday splashes: liquid beads on the surface, making it easier to wipe away. For stains, the surface can be washed and should be allowed to dry before use. Buyers often highlight the smooth glide, steady grip, comfortable feel, and stitched edging, these are useful qualities for a desk mat used through gaming sessions or a full workday. The Marble Purple finish also makes the mat a visible part of the setup rather than a plain, purely functional accessory.

Best use cases

Use the AB-C020 when you want one mat beneath both your keyboard and mouse, whether setting up a gaming desk or creating a defined work area. Its broad format suits users who prefer more mouse room than a small standalone pad provides. It can also help bring a keyboard, mouse, and frequently used desk items together on one surface. For a setup where only the mouse needs a dedicated glide area, a compact pad takes up less desk space, this extended mat is designed for broader coverage.

Before you decide

Will it fit a keyboard and mouse together? The 31.5 x 15.7-inch format is made to accommodate a keyboard and mouse on the same surface, with room for other desk items as well.

Can I use it with a laser or optical mouse? Yes. The smooth cloth surface is described as suitable for both laser and optical mice.

How should I clean a spill? The waterproof coating helps liquid bead on the surface so it can be wiped away. The mat can also be washed to remove stains, let it dry before using it again.

Should you buy it?

Choose the Hsmienk AB-C020 if you want a Marble Purple desk mat that combines keyboard-and-mouse coverage with a smooth tracking surface, a grippy natural rubber base, and stitched edges. Its extended layout is especially useful for gaming or office desks where a compact mouse pad leaves the keyboard on a separate surface.
