Blvornl 35.4 x 47.2-Inch PVC Chair Mat for Hard Floors, Red Brown

The rattan-like woven pattern gives this PVC chair mat a distinctive look while creating a defined surface beneath a rolling desk chair. Its red-brown color suits an office, study, or gaming space. Would a dedicated chair area help keep your hard floor protected during everyday desk use? The rubber backing adds friction to help the mat stay in place.

Everyday use

Place the mat beneath a desk chair to cover the floor area where the chair rolls. At 47.2 inches long by 35.4 inches wide and 0.08 inch thick, it provides a rectangular surface for a home office, computer room, bedroom, or study. It is designed for hard floors, including wood, vinyl, stone, tile, laminate, and concrete, it is not recommended for carpet. Using a mat instead of leaving the chair area uncovered gives the floor a layer of protection from chair-related wear, while keeping the workspace visually defined.

The chair mat can also serve as a protective surface beneath a table or in a pet area. For routine care, wipe it with a cloth. Its waterproof and oil-resistant surface is designed for straightforward cleanup, which is useful in spaces where the mat may encounter everyday spills or marks.

What stands out

The woven, rattan-like pattern offers a more textured appearance than a plain, transparent chair mat, and the red-brown finish adds color without changing the mat’s practical role. Its PVC construction forms a hard-floor covering, while the rubber layer underneath is designed to increase friction against the floor. Together, these details make it a practical choice for setting up a chair zone that looks considered as well as functional.

The surface is described as heat-resistant, and cleaning does not require a special routine: a gentle wipe with a cloth is the suggested approach. That makes the mat suitable for regular use around a desk, where simple upkeep can be useful. Buyers commonly praise its appearance and floor-protection role. Feedback on how securely it stays positioned, how flat it lies, and how freely a chair moves across it is mixed, so individual experiences vary.

What matters most

Choose this mat when you want a defined protective layer for a rolling chair on a hard floor, along with a patterned finish rather than a plain office-style surface. The 35.4-by-47.2-inch format is the key fit detail when planning where it will sit: consider the chair’s working area and the available floor space around the desk. Its rectangular shape makes it straightforward to orient beneath a workstation.

The rubber backing is intended to help reduce sliding, but customer feedback on stability and edge flatness varies. For best use, place the mat on a compatible hard floor and lay it in the chair area you want covered. If your workspace has carpet, this mat is not the recommended option, it is designed for hard flooring.

Final verdict

For a home office, study, or computer setup on wood, tile, laminate, or another hard floor, the Blvornl mat combines a practical chair surface with a red-brown woven look. Its PVC construction, wipe-clean care, and rubber backing address the everyday needs of a desk area while helping shield the floor beneath a rolling chair. It is a fitting choice when you want that protection in a patterned mat sized for a defined workstation zone.
