Everyday compatibility
Connect the frame to Wi-Fi and use the Frameo app to send photos and videos from an Android or iOS phone. Multiple people can join a frame to share updates, and one app can manage multiple frames. That makes it useful for keeping relatives connected to family gatherings, everyday snapshots, and milestones, even when they live apart. Add captions to photos, send greetings, or use reactions to let the sender know how a picture landed.
What changes when a family display can receive new photos as they happen? Instead of choosing only between a static printed photo and a locally loaded digital collection, this frame supports ongoing sharing alongside direct playback from removable storage. Buyers often highlight the clear images, large screen, and straightforward photo sharing. Feedback on phone transfers and reliability is mixed, so experiences with those aspects vary.
Usage tips
Set the frame on a desk with its detachable stand or mount it on a wall using the included screw. Adjust brightness, display order, captions, and sleep mode through the custom settings. Auto-rotation accommodates horizontal and vertical photos, while collage mode can display two to six photos or videos at once. Albums offer a way to organize images for easier browsing.
For removable-media playback, the frame supports SD cards and USB flash drives. Format the card or drive as FAT32 before use, a 32GB card or flash drive is recommended for compatibility. The USB port is for flash drives, not for transferring photos directly from a computer. Photos and videos can also be imported, exported, and backed up through removable storage. Videos sent through the Frameo app are limited to 15 seconds, videos played from an SD card or USB drive have no stated time limit.
