BENFEI 8K DisplayPort to DisplayPort Cable 6ft

This DisplayPort cable pair from BENFEI lets you connect desktops, laptops, and monitors for high-resolution video and multichannel audio with reliable locking connectors, making it convenient for dual-monitor setups and gaming stations. The set supports high refresh rates and bandwidth, so you can push up to 8K@60Hz or high-frequency 4K modes depending on your devices and graphics card compatibility.

Key Points

The pack includes two 6-foot DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables with gold-plated connectors and braided shielding for enhanced durability and signal integrity. The locking DisplayPort plug keeps the cable secure during use and includes a release button to avoid accidental unplugging. These cables are bidirectional and will carry both video and audio signals, allowing mirrored displays or extended desktops. According to the manufacturer, the cables support multiple resolutions and refresh rates, including 8K@60Hz and 4K at high refresh rates for smooth gameplay and detailed video work. Consider that actual performance depends on your source and display capabilities and on DisplayPort version support in your GPU.

Benefits

These cables reduce clutter by using a single lead to transmit high-bandwidth video and audio, which simplifies setup for a workstation or a gaming rig. The braided jacket and gold-plated contacts increase resistance to wear and potential corrosion, which can extend usable life compared with basic PVC cables. The latching DisplayPort end helps maintain a firm connection when moving or adjusting monitors, so you are less likely to experience signal dropouts during an active session. Also, the 6-foot length is long enough for flexible routing without excessive slack on typical desktop arrangements.

Usage Recommendations

For best results, pair these cables with monitors and graphics cards that explicitly support the target resolutions and refresh rates. When attempting 8K@60Hz or 4K at very high refresh rates, verify that your system’s DisplayPort version and GPU bandwidth are sufficient. Route the cables away from large power sources and networking equipment to minimize potential interference. If you need longer runs, consider testing first at the desired resolution because longer cable lengths can affect maximum achievable bandwidth.
