Its water-resistant PU leather helps shield the desktop from everyday moisture, ink, and other spills, for routine cleaning, wipe the surface with a damp cloth or paper towel.

Who it’s for

This mat suits home and office setups where a single, organized work area needs to support computer use and handwriting. Place a laptop and keyboard on the surface, keep the mouse within reach, and use the remaining space for notes or paperwork. The smooth top is intended for both mouse use and writing, making it useful for a desk that shifts between screen-based tasks and pen-and-paper work.

The suede backing is designed to add grip against the desk, so the mat can stay positioned as you type or write. It is designed for use on one side. Buyers commonly appreciate the broad coverage and the soft, smooth feel, and some describe using it as both a mouse pad and a writing surface. Feedback on mouse movement is mixed, with some buyers saying their mouse does not glide easily, that consideration may matter if mouse travel is central to your setup.

What you get

The listed item is one black AFIING desk mat in the 55" x 17" size. Its broad, rectangular shape provides a continuous place for computer accessories and writing, while the PU leather surface and suede backing combine desktop coverage with a non-slip design. Set it on the desk with the smooth side facing up, then arrange the equipment and materials you use most often across the surface.

Is it worth it?

The main benefit is having one large surface for several everyday desk tasks. The 55" x 17" format can bring a laptop, keyboard, mouse, and writing area together, while the water-resistant top helps protect the desk from routine spills and marks. Its smooth surface can serve as a writing pad as well as a mouse surface, and the suede backing is intended to help hold the mat in position.

For a workspace that would otherwise use separate pads for writing and mouse control, this AFIING mat offers a single, coordinated black surface with practical desk protection. It is a useful fit for home or office users who want broad coverage for both computer work and notes.
