AFIING D-5517-Dark Green PU Leather Desk Mat, 55" x 17

If your desk setup needs space for a keyboard, mouse, and writing area, the AFIING D-5517-Dark Green desk mat brings them together on one broad surface. Its 55" x 17" format is designed to cover a substantial section of a desk, so everyday work essentials can share a defined area instead of being spread across separate pads.

The polyurethane surface is smooth for writing and everyday desk use, while the suede backing helps keep the mat in place. Its dark green finish adds a considered touch to a home or office workspace.

Everyday use

Use the mat as a shared surface for a laptop, keyboard, mouse, and notes. The generous rectangular footprint can accommodate multiple work essentials, and the smooth top doubles as a writing area and mouse pad. That makes it a practical alternative to a small mouse pad when you want more of the desk protected and a consistent surface for typing, note-taking, and computer work.

The PU leather surface is waterproof and easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth or paper, helping shield the desktop from spills, ink, oil, and everyday scratches or stains. For a typical work session, place your laptop and keyboard on the mat, keep the mouse alongside them, and use the remaining surface for notes. The suede underside is intended to resist slipping, and the mat is designed for use on one side.

Where it shines

This desk pad suits a workspace where the computer area and writing space need to work together. Rather than placing a separate pad under the mouse and leaving the rest of the desktop exposed, its larger format creates one continuous area for a keyboard, mouse, laptop, and notes. It can also help protect wood or glass desktops from routine spills and surface marks while giving the setup a coordinated dark green accent.

Buyers often appreciate the soft feel, smooth writing surface, and broad coverage, and some describe using it for both mouse work and writing. Feedback on grip and mouse glide is mixed, so those experiences can vary. The mat’s stated suede backing and smooth PU surface make it suited to a combined typing and writing setup, with a single surface that is easy to wipe down after everyday use.

Buying verdict

Choose the AFIING D-5517-Dark Green when you want one large desk mat to cover computer and writing areas, rather than a compact pad focused only on mouse movement. Its 55" x 17" size, wipe-clean waterproof surface, and suede backing address the practical needs of a shared work zone, while the dark green color gives the desk a defined look. It’s a useful fit for home or office setups where broad desktop coverage and room for everyday work essentials matter.
