AFIING D-2313-Brown Desk Mat, 23.6" x 13" Brown PU Leather Protector

At 23.6" x 13", this brown PU leather desk mat creates a defined work area for a laptop, keyboard, and mouse. Its smooth surface works for mouse use and writing, while the suede backing helps keep the pad in place as you type or work.

The water-resistant surface helps protect a glass or wooden desktop from spills, ink, oil, stains, and scratches. When the mat needs cleaning, wipe it with a damp cloth or paper towel.

Getting the most from it

Use the mat as a combined work surface and desk protector. The smooth top gives your hands a comfortable place to rest while typing, and it can also serve as a writing surface or mouse pad. That can make it a practical setup for everyday home-office tasks, from taking notes beside a laptop to moving between keyboard and mouse without changing surfaces.

The suede backing is designed to provide grip on the desk, and the mat is intended for single-sided use. Position it with the PU surface facing up, then arrange your work items across the rectangular 23.6" x 13" area. For routine care, wipe away liquid or dirt with a damp cloth, the water-resistant surface helps shield the desktop from common spills and marks.

Why it makes sense

A separate mouse pad handles mouse use, while a desk blotter protects the surface beneath it. This mat brings those roles together: the top is smooth for mouse movement and writing, and its broad format can accommodate a laptop, keyboard, and mouse. It suits a workspace where you want a consistent surface for both computer use and handwritten notes, with desktop protection built into the same setup.

Buyers often appreciate the soft feel, writing surface, and size, with some describing it as useful for both mouse use and writing. Feedback on grip and mouse movement is mixed: some say the pad stays put, while others report that their mouse does not glide easily. These differing impressions are worth considering if mouse movement is the main reason for choosing a desk mat.

Key points

The brown PU leather surface combines a smooth working area with protection for the desktop. Its water-resistant design helps guard against water, drinks, ink, oil, stains, and scratches, and the surface can be cleaned with a damp cloth or paper towel. The soft suede backing is intended to reduce slipping, while the 23.6" x 13" rectangular format provides room for everyday desk essentials.

For example, during a work session, you can keep a laptop and keyboard on the mat, use the same surface for mouse movement, and write notes without switching to a separate pad. The brown finish also gives the workspace a coordinated, understated look.

When it makes sense

A solid pick if you want one desk mat for everyday computer work, writing, and protecting a glass or wooden desktop from spills and scratches. Its combination of a smooth PU top, suede backing, and 23.6" x 13" format is especially useful for a home-office setup where laptop, keyboard, mouse, and notes share the same area.
