Xyxu Flat Brackets for Wood 100x40mm
Product description
These Xyxu flat brackets offer a straightforward way to join and reinforce timber for garden and indoor jobs. Supplied as 10 sets of 100x40x2mm metal plates with screws, the pack aims to make quick repairs and sleeper fixings simple and robust.
Key features
Made from 2mm galvanized steel, each straight bracket has ten pre‑drilled 5mm holes to spread load across the joint. The plates are described as rust resistant and weatherproof, so they can be used outside on fence posts and sleepers as well as inside on furniture repairs. Edges are rounded to reduce snagging and handling risk, and the pack includes 100 M4x16mm screws for immediate fitting.

What stands out
The ten‑hole layout helps distribute pressure more evenly than smaller plates, which can reduce movement at joins. The galvanised finish offers basic corrosion protection according to the description, making these plates suitable for routine outdoor use rather than specialist marine environments. They are a practical choice where durability and a neat finish matter without specialist tools.
Best use cases
For everyday joinery tasks these brackets work well on garden sleepers, fence repairs and simple furniture mending. If you need a fast reinforcement for a shelf, headboard or chair frame, these plates and included screws provide a tidy, reliable fix. You’ll like the set if you value a ready‑to‑fit pack that covers multiple small to medium repairs.
Care & maintenance
Keep fittings clean and check screw tightness after the first few weeks of exposure to weather. For locations with prolonged damp or salt exposure consider additional protective coating, as galvanisation offers basic protection but not indefinite immunity.
