Usage tips

Pair the pen by holding the control button for 3 seconds until the LED flashes then connect by Bluetooth. If the pencil seems unresponsive, forget the Apple Pencil entry in iPad Bluetooth settings and reconnect according to the manufacturer instructions. The shortcut key performs an undo on a single click, and a 3 second press powers the unit on or off. Note that pressure sensitivity is not supported by this model.

The stylus ships with one installed tip and three spare tips, and it supports tilt sensitivity for shading and natural strokes. It turns off automatically after five minutes of inactivity to conserve battery, and it can be used without Bluetooth though shortcut functions and battery readout on the iPad require pairing.
