AviBrex 4K HDMI Cable 6m 18Gbps
Product description
AviBrex 4K HDMI Cable 6m is a high speed HDMI lead built for home entertainment setups where you want reliable, crisp pictures and clean audio. With HDMI 2.0 support and speeds up to 18Gbps, it is designed to handle demanding video formats such as 4K at 60Hz, while also covering 1080p and 1440p refresh rate use cases for compatible gaming and media devices. If you are setting up a digital home theatre, upgrading a TV connection, or wiring a projector and soundbar, this cable gives you one straightforward option to connect common HDMI sources with fewer hassles.
Key features
The AviBrex HDMI 2.0 cable is positioned around everyday compatibility and fast plug in use. It supports video up to 4K 3840x2160p at 60Hz, and also handles 1440p and 1080p modes, including 3D and multi view content where your source and display support it. HDMI 2.0 also means it is built to work with the bandwidth required for high definition audio and video together, so you do not need a separate audio lead in typical setups.
This cable is also described as backwards compatible with earlier HDMI versions, including HDMI 1.4, 1.3 and 1.2. That matters when you mix older and newer equipment in the same room, such as a Blu ray player alongside a modern TV. The connection is designed for a secure fit using gold plated connectors, and the overall construction aims to protect against signal interference in real world use.

What stands out
This is a flexible HDMI lead with a nylon braided jacket, which is designed to be easier to manage in tighter spaces. If your setup involves routing behind a TV stand, around a wall bracket, or across a small media unit, a braided cable jacket can help reduce tangling during installation. The outer layer is described as durable PVC for extra protection, and the cable is also stated as being tested for function so you can expect consistent performance for everyday viewing.
A practical detail worth noting is the cable end design. AviBrex describes a unique SR joint design at both ends, intended to help prevent joint cracking over time. It also uses high quality materials to improve contact between HDMI equipment, which is useful when you move between devices such as Blu ray players, games consoles, and streamers.
If you prioritise high speed HDMI for 4K and higher refresh rate viewing, this cable is designed to meet that need through its stated HDMI 2.0 support and 18Gbps bandwidth. If you mainly connect a TV to a soundbar or projector for standard HD viewing, it should still be a straightforward match thanks to the backwards compatibility claim.
Who it suits
It makes sense if you are building a digital home theatre, connecting a TV to a soundbar, or linking devices like a Blu ray player, Sky Q, a laptop, or a desktop PC to an external display. It is also a good fit if you own console systems such as PS4 or PS5, or Xbox One or Xbox 360, and you want one HDMI lead that covers multiple common modes. It might not suit you if your equipment uses a non HDMI connection, because this product is specifically an HDMI to HDMI cable.
For daily convenience, you can expect a plug and play setup without driver installation, according to the product description. With a 6m length, it is well suited to most living room and home office layouts where the source sits a little further from the TV or monitor. As with any HDMI cable, real world performance depends on both the source device and the display supporting the relevant formats and settings.
