Soundcore Space A40 A3936 Wireless Earbuds with Adaptive Noise Cancelling

Adaptive noise cancelling adjusts to your surroundings, helping reduce ambient noise by up to 98% while you listen. The compact in-ear design is made for comfortable extended wear. With a charging case, the Space A40 are ready for commutes and everyday listening.

Where it shines

On a bus or train, adaptive noise cancellation can help make music, films and podcasts easier to focus on by reducing surrounding sound. The earbuds also support Hi-Res audio and LDAC, with double-layer diaphragm drivers designed for balanced sound and deep bass. Want to tailor your listening rather than stick with one fixed sound? The soundcore app lets you adjust sound settings and manage playback.

Buyers often praise the sound quality and comfortable fit, and some value the app’s equaliser presets and customisation. Feedback is more mixed on noise cancellation and battery life, so individual experiences vary. That makes the Space A40 particularly appealing if you want adjustable listening features alongside noise cancelling for your daily commute.

The essentials

The earbuds provide up to 10 hours of playback on a charge, with up to 50 hours in total using the charging case. A 10-minute fast charge is stated to provide up to 4 hours of listening. The case supports wireless charging, and the set includes a USB-C cable for charging.

Bluetooth 5.2 provides wireless connection to phones, laptops and tablets. Five included ear tip sizes, from XS to XL, let you choose a fit that feels secure for your ears. The earbuds are water resistant, and the case is compact enough to carry with your everyday essentials. If you are comparing them with basic wireless earbuds, the Space A40 bring adaptive noise cancellation, app-based sound customisation and LDAC support together in one in-ear set.

Getting the most from it

Try the included ear tip sizes to find a comfortable seal, then use the app to set your preferred sound. For a commute, you can switch on adaptive noise cancellation to reduce surrounding noise, at home, use the same earbuds for films or podcasts from a compatible phone, laptop or tablet. The charging case helps keep the earbuds powered between listening sessions, with wireless charging or the included USB-C cable available for charging.

Final verdict

The Soundcore Space A40 A3936 are well suited to listeners who want wireless in-ear earbuds for commuting and everyday use, with adaptive noise cancelling, app-adjustable sound and a choice of ear tip sizes. Their combination of up to 50 hours’ total playback, fast charging and wireless charging makes them a practical fit for regular listening on the move.
