SoundPEATS Q40HD Neckband Headphones with LDAC, 11mm Drivers and IP67

Some listeners put sound first, others need headphones that can keep pace with training and everyday movement. The SoundPEATS Q40HD brings those priorities together in an in-ear neckband design.

LDAC support and 11mm dual-magnetic drivers are geared towards detailed listening, while the IP67 rating and up to 20 hours of playtime suit active days.

Use the PeatsAudio app to adjust the sound, including its Dynamic EQ and Bass Boost options. The neckband format keeps the earpieces linked when you pause between tracks or activities.

How it fits

The Q40HD uses in-ear earpieces attached to a neckband, making it a practical format for fitness, commutes and listening while moving around. When you take an earpiece out, the connected neckband can rest around your neck rather than leaving two separate earbuds to manage. Its IP67 rating is designed to resist sweat, rain and dust, supporting use during workouts and outdoor routines.

For a gym session, you can wear the headphones for music, adjust playback through the button controls and use the app to tailor the audio. They also connect wirelessly to phones and tablets, making them suitable for switching from a training playlist to everyday listening.

Strengths

LDAC carries high-resolution audio over Bluetooth, while the 11mm dual-magnetic driver combines a PU diaphragm with dual neodymium magnets. The stated aim is clear high notes alongside fuller bass, giving music a more considered sound profile than a basic, untuned listening setup. Smart EQ adds a 360° sound mode, and Dynamic EQ in the PeatsAudio app is designed to recover high-frequency detail. Bass Boost is also available in the app for listeners who prefer more emphasis at the low end.

Battery life is rated at up to 20 hours at 60% volume. A 10-minute charge is stated to provide up to five hours of playback, a useful top-up before heading out. Customer feedback often highlights the sound, while experiences of durability and battery life are mixed, the stated battery figures provide a clear reference for planning use.

Compared with choosing fully separate earbuds, the neckband offers a connected format that stays around your neck when listening stops. It is a straightforward fit for people who value an active-use design alongside app-based sound adjustment.
