PowerLocus P1 Rose Gold Over-Ear Headphones, Foldable Bluetooth and Wired

Who it’s for

The over-ear design and 40 mm drivers make these Rose Gold PowerLocus headphones suited to music, calls and audio on the move. Connect wirelessly over Bluetooth or use the detachable 3.5 mm cable for wired listening. A foldable frame and included carry case make them easier to pack for a commute, trip or gym bag.

For a practical everyday setup, the adjustable headband and soft protein-foam ear cushions support a comfortable fit, while the built-in microphone lets you take hands-free calls. They work with Bluetooth- or 3.5 mm-enabled devices, including phones, tablets and laptops. For a TV or Nintendo Switch, an additional Bluetooth transmitter is needed to pair wirelessly.

Strengths

The main advantage is having more than one way to listen. Bluetooth suits everyday use with a mobile phone or tablet, while the detachable audio cable provides a wired option. The headphones also support FM radio and microSD/TF playback, so listening is not limited to a Bluetooth connection. Multipoint technology is available in Bluetooth mode, with the option to switch between two devices.

For travel and storage, the foldable design and protective carry case keep the headphones together when they are packed away. At home or in a home office, the built-in microphone and call controls make it straightforward to answer calls without taking the headphones off. CVC noise-cancelling technology is specified for calls, it is distinct from a promise of active noise cancellation for music.

Buyers often highlight the sound, straightforward pairing and handy case. Feedback on comfort, reliability and noise cancellation is mixed, so the clearest documented strengths to weigh are the choice of wired or wireless listening, the extra playback modes and the portable design. Compared with a simpler Bluetooth-only headset, the P1 offers more listening routes, that flexibility is useful if you also want a cable, radio or microSD playback.

Is it worth it?

A solid pick if you want foldable over-ear headphones for everyday listening, travel or calls, with both Bluetooth and a 3.5 mm wired connection. The 40 mm drivers, built-in microphone, FM radio and microSD/TF support bring several practical options into one headset, while the case makes it easier to carry between home, work and the gym.
