Soundcore Select 4 Go A31X1 Portable Bluetooth Speaker, IP67, 20-Hour Playtime

Bring music to a shower, picnic or campsite with the Soundcore Select 4 Go, a compact Bluetooth speaker designed for listening on the move. Its IP67 protection, floatable design and included strap make it easy to take along for outdoor plans, while up to 20 hours of playback supports longer days away from a charger.

At home, it suits everyday listening on a table or beside the bath. Take it in a bag when heading out, then use the app to customise the EQ to your preference. It can also pair wirelessly with a second speaker for stereo separation.

Everyday use

This portable speaker keeps music close without the footprint of a larger home speaker. At 15.8D x 5.2W x 9.6H centimetres and 9.3 ounces, it is sized for carrying between rooms or packing for a day out. The strap adds a handy way to carry it, and button controls give you direct access to playback.

For a longer outing, the battery offers up to 20 hours of playtime on a charge. That makes it practical for a full day of casual listening, whether you are relaxing outdoors or sharing music at a get-together. Bluetooth connects it to a smartphone or tablet, and the soundcore app provides customisable EQ and Bass Boost options.

Where it shines

The Select 4 Go is made for settings where a phone speaker is not the right fit and a larger speaker is less convenient to carry. Bring it to the beach, on a camping trip or to a picnic, and its compact build and strap help keep music portable. Around water, its IP67 protection and ability to float add practical reassurance, the speaker can be immersed up to 3.3 ft deep for 30 minutes.

For a more spacious stereo setup, connect two speakers using TWS. To start, connect one speaker to your phone, then press and hold the Bluetooth button on both speakers for 2 seconds. Buyers often highlight the sound and compact size, with battery life also receiving positive comments. Feedback on Bluetooth connectivity is mixed, so experiences with setup and connection vary.

When it makes sense

Choose this speaker when portability and outdoor-ready design matter as much as everyday music. Its 5-watt output, Bluetooth connection and app-based EQ suit personal listening, while the floatable, waterproof and dustproof construction makes it relevant for days around water and outdoor plans. The up-to-20-hour playback claim is useful for longer sessions, and TWS pairing offers a way to build a stereo setup with a second speaker.

A solid pick if you want one compact speaker for both home routines and trips out, with straightforward button control and the flexibility to tailor the sound through the app.
