soundcore A3117 portable Bluetooth speaker, 16W stereo, IPX7 waterproof
Product description
Dual titanium diaphragm drivers and BassUp technology give the soundcore A3117 clear treble and fuller bass, helping music carry from a room at home to an outdoor gathering. Its 16W stereo output and IPX7 waterproof casing make it a practical speaker for everyday listening, including in the shower or by the beach.
With up to 24 hours of playtime, it is ready for a day out without needing a charge along the way. Bluetooth pairing and app-based EQ let you connect a smartphone and adjust the sound to suit the music.
Tips for day-to-day use
Pair the speaker with a smartphone over Bluetooth for music at home, in the office or while travelling. Its compact body measures 168D x 47W x 56H millimetres and weighs 372 g, so it is easy to pack for a weekend away or bring along to an outdoor get-together. The stated Bluetooth range is 15 metres, giving you room to keep your phone nearby while listening.
The IPX7 waterproof casing is useful when there are liquids around, whether you are listening in the shower or relaxing by the beach. For a longer listening session, BassUp works with the dual passive radiators to enhance bass in real time, including at lower volumes. What if you want a little more emphasis on vocals or bass? Use the custom EQ in the app to tailor the sound to your preference.
Why it makes sense
The A3117 combines stereo sound, portable dimensions and long playtime in one Bluetooth speaker. Its dual drivers use pure titanium diaphragms, designed to extend treble up to 40kHz while minimising distortion, alongside the bass-enhancing technology, this gives music a more balanced and engaging presentation across different settings. The IPX7-rated waterproof design adds reassurance for listening where splashes or liquids are part of the surroundings.
Buyers highlight the speaker’s clear treble and ample volume, along with its compact size for taking on holiday. They also appreciate the straightforward Bluetooth connection and battery life. For someone choosing between a small portable speaker and a larger home-focused setup, the soundcore’s portable format and 16W stereo output suit listening across both indoor and outdoor spaces without being tied to one room.
