SmarTect Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Nintendo Switch 2, 2-Pack, 9H
Product description
The 0.3 mm tempered glass is designed to help shield a Nintendo Switch 2 screen from scratches and everyday knocks while keeping the display clear. The pack includes two protectors, so there is a spare if you need one later. Choose glass if scratch and impact resistance matter more than flexibility, a flexible film is a different approach for light protection on curved surfaces.
Practical tips
A clean screen is the starting point for a neat fit. This pack includes wet wipes, a microfiber cloth and anti-dust stickers for preparing the surface, along with an instruction manual in English. Take care to remove dust before applying the glass: the anti-bubble feature is intended to help with installation, but a clean surface is still important. The oleophobic coating is designed to reduce fingerprints, grease and dirt marks, which may make routine screen cleaning easier.
The protector is described as compatible with the original Nintendo Switch 2. The product information also notes that, on a curved device, the glass covers only the horizontal surface. That distinction matters if you expect edge-to-edge coverage rather than protection across the flat display area.

What you’ll notice day to day
For handheld play or when placing the console in a bag, a glass layer offers a practical barrier against contact with small everyday items. The clear, glossy finish is intended to preserve the display’s original appearance, while high touch sensitivity is listed as a feature. The coating may help keep fingerprint marks less noticeable, though it does not remove the need to clean the screen.
Compared with a flexible TPU film, tempered glass prioritises resistance to scratches and impacts, TPU is more flexible and is described as a basic option for light use on curved displays. Worth considering if you want a spare protector in the pack and prefer a rigid glass layer for the flat screen. It may not suit you if full coverage over curved edges is your priority. For this type of use, the stated coverage detail is worth factoring into your choice.
Practical questions
How many protectors are included? The pack contains two glass protectors, as well as the listed cleaning and dust-removal accessories.
Does it cover curved edges? The product information says that on a curved device, only the horizontal surface is covered. It is not described as full curved-edge coverage.
What does the installation kit include? You get two wet wipes, a microfiber cloth and two anti-dust stickers, plus an instruction manual in English to guide application.
Should you buy it?
This SmarTect pack makes sense if you want tempered-glass protection for a Nintendo Switch 2 and value having a second protector ready. The 9H rating, glossy finish and supplied cleaning kit are useful details for a screen protector intended for regular handheld use. If your main requirement is coverage across curved edges, the stated limit is a reason to look for a different fit, if you want a flexible layer for a curved surface and light protection, TPU follows a different set of priorities.
