Goliath Sequence 932016 Paw Patrol Junior family game, multicolour

For families looking for a Paw Patrol-themed game for children aged three and up, Goliath Sequence 932016 brings the character theme to a simple line-making challenge. It is listed for two to four players, so it can suit a small family group as well as play between children and adults.

The aim is to get four chips in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally, while watching for another player to block your plan. The product carries a choking-hazard warning for small parts, so it is not suitable for children under three.

Everyday use

This is a turn-based group game built around making a row of four and disrupting an opponent’s attempt to do the same. That gives it more of a planning and blocking element than a straightforward picture-matching activity, while the Paw Patrol theme provides a familiar starting point for younger players. The rules are supplied, which is useful if the group has not played Sequence before.

With two to four players, it is intended for a small group rather than solo play or a large party. A practical fit would be a family game session where everyone can focus on the board and keep track of the chips. The listing gives the dimensions as 26.7L x 5W centimetres, but does not provide a playing time, so it is difficult to judge how long a round will take from the available details.

You’ll like it if you want a Paw Patrol-themed activity that gives children a chance to think about where to place a chip as well as follow the goal of making a line. It is also worth considering if you want a game that does not require batteries.

Usage tips

Read the included instructions before starting, particularly if the players are new to Sequence, so everyone understands the four-in-a-row objective and how blocking can affect a plan. The game is for two to four players, choosing a group within that range keeps play aligned with the stated player count.

As the product contains small parts and carries a choking-hazard warning, keep those pieces away from children under three. For younger children who are within the stated age range, an adult can help explain the rules and supervise handling of the pieces. No batteries are needed, so there is no battery setup to factor into a game session.

Should you buy it?

Sequence 932016 is a sensible fit for households seeking a Paw Patrol-themed family game for two to four players, with a clear objective and a bit of tactical thinking. Its appeal depends on wanting this particular theme and line-making style, the product details do not suggest a solo mode or play for more than four people. Not the best choice if you need an activity for a larger group, or for a child under three given the small-parts warning. For this type of use, it is the stated player range, age suitability and interest in Paw Patrol that should guide the decision.
