GLORIOUS GLO-KB-ACC-SWT-LYNX-SL-LUBED-36 Lynx Silent Linear Switches, 36 Pack

For a mechanical keyboard used for late-night gaming or everyday typing, the GLORIOUS Lynx Silent switches offer a linear keystroke with internal sound dampening. This pack contains 36 pre-lubed switches with POM stems, designed for compatible 5-pin hot-swap keyboards.

Their smooth, swift action suits setups where you want responsive key presses and quieter acoustics without changing to a different keyboard style.

How to use it

These are PCB-mounted, 5-pin switches for mechanical keyboards with 5-pin hot-swap sockets. They are compatible with all GLORIOUS GMMK keyboards and most mechanical keyboards that use this socket type. Match the switch to your keyboard’s socket before fitting it, so the pins align with the PCB-mounted connection.

A 36-switch pack is useful when you are refreshing a section of a compatible keyboard or building a setup that calls for this specific linear feel. The manual switch action responds to each press, making the switches suitable for both gaming and routine typing.

Benefits

The linear design gives each key a smooth, direct press, with no tactile bump described in the switch’s action. Lubrication on the POM stem reduces friction, supporting an even glide through each keystroke. That feel can suit fast key presses in games as well as longer stretches of everyday typing.

Internal sound dampening is the practical distinction for shared rooms or late sessions: it is designed to keep keystrokes quiet. If you are choosing between a quieter linear setup and switches selected for a more pronounced sound or feel, the Lynx combines the linear action with built-in acoustic dampening.

What matters most

The main points to consider are the connection, the feel and the sound. These switches use a 5-pin PCB-mount format, so the keyboard needs compatible 5-pin hot-swap sockets. Their linear action and lubricated POM stem are intended for smooth presses, while the internal dampening makes quieter typing and gaming the focus.

The pack contains 36 switches, giving you a defined quantity for your keyboard project. It’s a good fit if you want to keep a hot-swap keyboard’s setup centred on smooth linear presses and reduced keystroke noise, rather than choosing a switch primarily for a different sound or response style.

What to clarify

Which keyboards are compatible? The switches work with all GLORIOUS GMMK keyboards and most mechanical keyboards that have 5-pin hot-swap sockets. The socket type is the key detail to match.

What does the linear action feel like? The switches are designed for smooth, swift presses, with a lubricated POM stem to reduce friction. They suit both gaming and everyday typing.

Are they designed for quieter typing? Yes. Internal sound dampening is included to reduce keystroke noise, making the switches suitable for late-night use and shared spaces.

Buying verdict

For a compatible 5-pin hot-swap keyboard, this 36-pack brings together a linear press, a lubricated POM stem and internal sound dampening. Choose the Lynx Silent switches when your priority is smooth keystrokes for gaming or daily typing with quieter acoustics.
