GLORIOUS GMMK 3 Pro GLO-KB-GMMK3-PRO-100-PB-FOX-W-SIL-US 100% Keyboard, Silver

Set up a gaming or work desk with a full-size keyboard that gives you room to customise both its feel and appearance. The GLORIOUS GMMK 3 Pro has a 104-key American QWERTY layout, linear Fox switches and a wired USB-C connection, bringing familiar full-size typing together with a modular design.

Its silver CNC-machined aluminium case gives the keyboard a distinctive finish, while RGB backlighting adds colour to your setup.

Key takeaways

The GMMK 3 Pro is built around choice. Its nine modular design points let you change parts to tailor the keyboard’s look, sound and feel, and the modular gasket system lets you adjust the internal setup for a firmer or more flexible typing feel. That makes it a practical fit for someone who wants more control than a standard, fixed-layout gaming keyboard offers.

The 5-pin MX hot-swap support lets you change compatible switches without soldering. It comes with linear Fox switches, so the keyboard is ready to use as supplied, while the hot-swap design gives you the option to explore other Glorious MX switch styles. The 100% layout keeps a full set of keys together for gaming, writing and everyday desktop tasks.

How it fits

Connect it by USB-C to a PC, laptop or gaming console for a wired setup. The American QWERTY layout is worth factoring into your choice if you are used to a different key arrangement, as the physical layout may differ from product images. At 46.2L x 15.2W x 4.5H centimetres, it has a full-size footprint, with the number pad and main keys in one keyboard.

The included braided cable supports a tidy wired connection. In the box you’ll also find a keycap puller, switch puller, screwdriver, three sample switches, extra screws and O-rings, four alternate macOS keycaps and a quick-start booklet. The alternate keycaps offer a way to adapt the key labels for a macOS setup.

Getting the most from it

Want to change the typing feel without replacing the whole keyboard? The hot-swap sockets make switch changes a straightforward way to explore a different feel, while the gasket system gives you another route to adjust how typing feels. The supplied pullers and screwdriver help with these hands-on customisation tasks, the included sample switches let you compare switch options before making further changes.

For day-to-day use, the full-size layout suits a desk shared between gaming, work and general typing, and RGB backlighting lets you bring colour to the setup. If you prefer a keyboard you can adapt over time, rather than one with a fixed construction, the modular parts offer a clear reason to consider this model. Its aluminium top and bottom cases also make the materials part of the desk setup, not just the switch and lighting choices.
