FOREHILL M279 6-Drawer Chest of Drawers, White, 45 x 40 x 90.5 cm

Some rooms need a single, organised place for clothes and everyday essentials, others benefit from storage that makes good use of vertical space. The FOREHILL M279 brings both together in a white chest with six drawers, combining a compact 45 x 40 cm footprint with a height of 90.5 cm.

Its mix of drawer sizes makes it easier to separate smaller items from folded clothing, while the wide top offers space for decorations.

Quick overview

The six drawers comprise four larger drawers and two smaller ones. Use the smaller drawers for items such as socks, ties or jewellery, and the larger ones for clothes, trousers, sheets or cosmetics. This arrangement gives different belongings their own place, helping keep a bedroom or dressing area organised without spreading storage across several pieces of furniture.

The chest is made from engineered wood and has a white painted finish, smooth lines and cut-out handles. Metal drawer slides are designed to help each drawer open and close smoothly. Its top can also hold decorations, making the cabinet useful as well as neatly finished. A rear anti-tip device adds stability, fit it as intended during assembly.

Buyers highlight the straightforward assembly and the chest’s appearance. Feedback on value for money is mixed, so the practical appeal here is its combination of six varied drawers, a compact footprint and a clean, modern look.

Cleaning & care

For everyday care, wipe the surface clean with a dry cloth. The white finish and simple lines suit a range of interiors, while this straightforward cleaning routine makes it easy to keep the cabinet looking tidy as part of regular room care.

Who it’s for

This chest is suited to bedrooms and dressing rooms where clothes and smaller personal items need to be kept separate, as well as hallways, living rooms or study rooms that need extra household storage. Its 45 x 40 cm footprint makes it a useful choice when you want a taller storage unit rather than a wider, lower cabinet. In a bedroom, for example, the two smaller drawers can hold socks and accessories while the larger drawers keep folded clothes and sheets together. It can also stand beside a desk or dresser, or be placed alongside another unit to build a coordinated storage area.

What to clarify

How are the six drawers arranged? There are four larger drawers, each measuring 38.2 x 30 x 11.8 cm, and two smaller drawers, each measuring 38.2 x 30 x 8.5 cm. The different sizes help separate smaller essentials from bulkier folded items.

Is assembly required? Yes. The panels and accessories are numbered, and mounting instructions and accessories are included to guide assembly.

Does the cabinet have an anti-tip feature? Yes. An anti-tip device is fitted to the back of the chest to provide extra stability. Use it as intended when setting up the unit.

Final verdict

Choose the FOREHILL M279 when you want varied drawer storage in a modern white finish without using a wide floor area. Its six drawers support practical organisation across bedrooms, dressing rooms and shared living spaces, while the top provides a handy place for decorative items.
