FOREHILL M241 Chest of Drawers, Black, 5 Drawers and Door Storage, 100 x 40 x 80 cm

For a home that needs neatly organised storage across more than one room, the FOREHILL M241 brings drawers and cupboard space together in one piece. Its black, modern finish suits a bedroom, hall or living area. The broad top also gives you a handy surface for everyday items or decorative pieces.

Key takeaways

Five drawers provide a mix of four larger spaces and one smaller drawer, making it easier to separate clothes, accessories and smaller essentials. A door-fronted storage area adds another way to organise belongings, so items that do not suit a drawer can be kept out of sight. This combination is a practical alternative to a drawer-only chest when you want different types of storage in one unit.

The chest measures 100 x 40 x 80 cm and is made from engineered wood with a black lacquered finish. Its 100 x 40 cm top can hold items such as a mirror, photo frames or a vase, while the concealed-groove handles keep the front looking clean and make the drawers easier to open. The surface can be wiped with a dry cloth.

How it fits

At 100 cm wide, the M241 can serve as a bedroom chest for clothing and cosmetics, or as a storage cabinet in a living room or hallway. In a bedroom, the larger drawers can keep folded clothes together while the smaller drawer separates accessories. In a hall, the combination of drawers and cupboard storage offers room for everyday essentials, with the top available for items you want close to hand.

Assembly is required, and the instructions and mounting accessories are included. The unit has a floor-mounted design and an anti-tipping device for securing it to a wall, fitting this device adds stability. Its simple black finish and rectangular shape make it easy to use as a standalone storage piece or alongside other furniture.

Everyday use

The mix of storage types helps make daily tidying more straightforward: use the drawers for items you reach for often and the door-fronted section for belongings you would rather keep tucked away. Smooth sliding rails support opening and closing the drawers, while metal hinges allow the door to open and close. In a living room, this layout can keep books, remotes and household bits organised without relying on open shelving.

Buyers often praise the appearance and storage space, and some describe the unit as sturdy. They also report that assembly is reasonably straightforward, with clear instructions. These are customer impressions rather than a substitute for following the supplied assembly guide, particularly when securing the chest to the wall.

Should you buy it?

Choose the FOREHILL M241 if you want one piece of furniture to handle both drawer storage and concealed cupboard space. Its five drawers, door-fronted storage and usable top make it a versatile fit for bedrooms, hallways and living rooms, especially where keeping everyday belongings organised matters as much as maintaining a tidy-looking room.
