SONGMICS YYagsgaddsfasof1175 Storage Cubes, Set of 6, Foldable, 20 L

For a cube shelf that needs to keep clothes, books or everyday bits neatly contained, these SONGMICS fabric storage cubes make it easier to organise a room without changing the furniture. Each cube measures 26 x 26 x 28 cm and has a front handle, so you can pull it out when you need something and return it to the shelf afterwards.

Choose them for tucked-away storage rather than an open display: the ink black and tan finish brings a coordinated, vintage-inspired look to a bedroom, living room or study. The set also folds flat when you remove the base plates, making it practical for flexible storage needs.

The fabric construction and cardboard panels give each cube its shape, while the front metal ring handle helps with access on a shelf. With six cubes in the set, you can sort different categories separately: for example, keep books together in a study and clothes or small household items in a bedroom. Buyers speak positively about the appearance and storage usefulness, while views on size vary. Using the stated dimensions to plan your shelf layout helps match the cubes to the space you have.

Usage tips

Insert the base plates to prepare the cubes for use. Place them in a cube shelf or on a flat surface, then group items by room or purpose so they are easier to find. A cube can hold up to 5 kg, with a stated capacity of 20 litres, this makes it suitable for everyday items such as clothes, books and shoes. For a tidy look, keep similar items together and use the front handle to bring the relevant cube forward.

When you need the space for another purpose, remove the base plate and fold the cube flat. To care for the fabric, wipe it with a damp cloth and allow it to air dry. The manufacturer advises airing the cubes in a well-ventilated place for a few hours if they have a new-product smell.

In the box

The set includes 6 storage boxes and 1 instruction booklet. Each box measures 26 x 26 x 28 cm, so compare those dimensions with the available shelf opening when planning a row of cubes. The consistent size is also useful when you want to divide one storage area into matching sections.

What to clarify

Will these cubes fit my shelf? Each cube measures 26 x 26 x 28 cm. Check the opening and usable depth of your cube shelf against these dimensions before arranging the set.

Can I fold them away between uses? Yes. Remove the base plate and fold each cube flat to make room when the storage is not needed.

How should I clean the fabric? Wipe it with a damp cloth and let it air dry. The manufacturer advises against washing the cubes.

Buying verdict

A solid pick if you want several matching containers for a cube shelf, with a front handle for easy access and a fold-flat design for changing storage needs. The six-piece set suits practical room-by-room organising, while the ink black and tan finish keeps the storage looking considered rather than purely utilitarian.
