HOMCOM 83D-049V00AK Bohemian Rattan Chest of Drawers, Oak, 3 Drawers

Some rooms need furniture that keeps everyday essentials out of sight, others call for a piece that also adds warmth to the decor. This HOMCOM chest of drawers brings both together, pairing three practical drawers with natural rattan fronts and a soft oak finish for a relaxed, bohemian look.

Its pine wood legs lift the unit off the floor, while the compact footprint makes it useful in a bedroom, hallway or living room.

Key points

Three drawers provide separate places for clothes and smaller household essentials, helping keep surfaces clear and belongings easier to organise. The rattan fronts add texture, while the oak finish gives the design a warm, natural feel. Rounded corners soften the outline, and the smooth-gliding drawers are fitted with alloy handles for straightforward everyday access.

The chest measures 76W x 35D x 76H cm. Each drawer has a maximum load of 8 kg, the top supports up to 15 kg, and the stated total maximum load is 39 kg. The top can be used for items such as photos, candles or a decorative plant, within its load limit. Assembly is required: attach the legs with the supplied screws and secure the anti-tip kit as directed.

How it fits

In a bedroom, use the drawers to organise clothes and keep frequently used items close to hand. In a hallway, they offer a home for everyday essentials, in a living room, they provide concealed storage without relying on open shelves. The rectangular shape and 76 cm width make it a useful choice where you want drawer storage without a wide dresser taking over the room.

Compared with open storage, drawers keep their contents tucked away, making this design well suited to clothing and household items rather than pieces intended mainly for display. The rattan and oak look also gives the unit a decorative role, so it can sit alongside existing furniture as well as serve a practical purpose.

Everyday use

The three drawers let you group belongings by type or room, reducing the need to search through a single shared space. Smooth-gliding runners support regular opening and closing, while the top provides a place for a small selection of useful or decorative items. Wipe the surface with a dry cloth for routine care.

Buyer feedback is positive about assembly and value, while opinions on sturdiness are mixed. For day-to-day use, follow the assembly instructions and secure the anti-tip kit to help keep the chest safely in place.

Buying verdict

Choose this HOMCOM chest when you want bedroom, hallway or living-room storage with a more considered finish than a plain utility unit. Its three drawers organise clothing and essentials, and the rattan fronts, oak finish and pine wood legs bring a distinct bohemian touch to the room. It makes sense if you want useful drawer storage that also contributes to the look of your space.
