elago ES17MSLE69PRO-BK Magnetic Leather Case for iPhone Pro Max, MagSafe

If you need a case for an iPhone 17 Pro Max or iPhone 18 Pro Max that works with MagSafe accessories, this elago model brings both together. Its black vegan leather-style PU finish gives the phone a smooth, understated look. Built-in magnets support alignment with MagSafe chargers and accessories. How does that help day to day? It keeps charging and accessory use part of the same setup.

Tips for day-to-day use

The case is made from PU leather with a smooth finish and a soft-grip feature, offering a tactile alternative to a plain hard-shell case. For everyday marks or light spills, the water-resistant material is designed to be easy to wipe clean. That makes it a practical choice for a phone used throughout the day, from commuting and errands to keeping in touch at home.

Its built-in magnets are designed for use with MagSafe accessories, so you can keep a compatible charging or accessory routine without taking the case off. The black colour and solid pattern also suit a simple, coordinated look. Use it with either of the stated phone models: iPhone 17 Pro Max or iPhone 18 Pro Max.

Where it shines

This case is particularly suited to someone who wants a leather-style finish and MagSafe functionality in one everyday cover. Rather than choosing a decorative sleeve or a basic case without magnetic support, you get a smooth PU leather exterior with magnets built in. That combination is useful when you want to use MagSafe accessories while keeping a consistent finish on your phone.

The product is described as water-resistant and features heavy-duty protection. Its vegan leather material offers a leather-inspired appearance without using animal leather. For a practical daily scenario, you can leave the case on while placing the phone on a MagSafe charger or using another compatible MagSafe accessory, then wipe the surface clean as needed.

What matters most

The key choice is matching the case to the correct phone: it is listed for iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The model reference is ES17MSLE69PRO-BK. The case weighs 35 grams and measures 16.7 x 1.5 x 8.4 centimetres. Its black, smooth finish keeps the design restrained, while the soft-grip feature adds a tactile element for everyday handling.

Buyer feedback is positive about the vegan leather feel and sleek appearance, with grip also appreciated. Opinions on fit and protection are mixed, and some buyers raise concerns about durability, removal and button alignment. These comments are useful context when choosing a case, the product’s stated features remain its MagSafe magnets, water-resistant PU leather and compatibility with the two listed Pro Max models.
