elago Magnetic Ridge ES17MSRG69PRO-LBL Case for iPhone 17 Pro Max and 18 Pro Max

Best use cases

Choosing a phone case often means balancing everyday impact protection with a shape that stays comfortable to carry. The elago Magnetic Ridge brings a slim profile together with a rigid polycarbonate shell, silicone around the corners and a diagonal tread-inspired texture. That combination suits daily handling, when a case needs to feel distinctive while helping protect a phone from knocks and drops.

Its built-in magnets also make it a practical fit for a MagSafe setup. Attach a compatible charger, wallet, battery pack or car mount, with the magnetic core helping keep accessories aligned. The light blue finish and matching capture button give the case a coordinated look without changing its everyday purpose.

Technical overview

• Compatibility: iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 18 Pro Max
• Construction: Polycarbonate shell with liquid silicone and soft microfibre lining
• Magnetic system: N55 neodymium magnets, compatible with MagSafe
• Finish: Textured, solid light blue
• Dimensions: 17.7 x 8.5 x 1.5 centimetres
• Form: Slim basic case

The diagonal ridge pattern is designed to channel drop force away from the phone, while silicone around the corners adds an impact-absorbing layer. A soft microfibre lining sits against the phone, and the textured exterior gives the case its sneaker-sole-inspired appearance. For a typical day, that means a protective case with a clear design character, rather than a plain shell chosen solely for a minimal look.

What stands out

The magnetic core is the main practical difference: it supports MagSafe accessories, so the case can remain in place while you use compatible charging and mounting options. Its slim form keeps those everyday functions together with a layered construction, rather than making magnetic attachment the only consideration.

The colour-matched capacitive capture button is another considered detail. It is designed to support tapping, shooting and scrolling while blending with the light blue finish. Buyers also praise the case’s appearance, silicone feel and protection. Feedback on grip is mixed, and some buyers report durability concerns, so it is worth weighing those impressions alongside the case’s documented design and features.
