Everyday compatibility

Designed for AirPods 4 and AirPods 5, this cover adds a cassette-inspired outer shell while keeping wireless charging available. That means you can leave the case fitted when charging wirelessly, rather than making removing the cover part of the routine. The carabiner offers another way to carry it: attach the case to a backpack, handbag or keys so it is close at hand when you are heading out.

The soft silicone construction is intended to help cushion impacts from accidental drops. It brings together a recognisable retro design and a protective layer, so you can choose something more distinctive than a plain case without giving up everyday practicality. Buyers often praise the cassette appearance. Feedback on the fit is more mixed, with some reporting that the top section can come loose, comments on durability also vary. These points are useful to bear in mind when choosing a cover that will be handled regularly.

Everyday use

For a commute, a day out or simply moving between rooms, the carabiner gives you a convenient attachment point on a bag or set of keys. The cassette-tape styling makes the case stand out among other small accessories, while the Classic White finish keeps the look clean and understated. Silicone gives the shell a soft, rubber-like feel and helps absorb knocks if the case is dropped.

Compared with a straightforward protective cover, this elago design makes its retro appearance part of the appeal. It suits AirPods owners who want to protect their charging case and carry it in a more individual style, with wireless charging support still available. The compact listed dimensions and 36-gram weight are useful details for anyone choosing an everyday carry accessory.

Final verdict

This case brings together a cassette-inspired look, silicone impact cushioning, wireless charging compatibility and a carabiner for flexible carry. Worth considering if you want an AirPods 4 or AirPods 5 cover that adds character as well as a practical way to attach your case to everyday bags or keys.
