elago ES17MSSC69PRO-BGD Magnetic Silicone Case for iPhone 17/18 Pro Max, MagSafe, Burgundy

For an iPhone 17 Pro Max or iPhone 18 Pro Max that needs everyday protection and MagSafe compatibility, this elago case combines a slim liquid silicone shell with built-in N55 neodymium magnets. The magnets connect the phone to compatible MagSafe chargers, wallets and car mounts, while the soft-touch finish and raised edges add practical protection for daily handling.

Its Burgundy colour, matte finish and soft microfibre lining give the case a considered look and help protect the phone from small scratches inside the shell.

What to know

Designed for iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 18 Pro Max, this case has full edge coverage and raised lips that lift the screen and camera away from surfaces. The 1 mm edges help keep those areas from resting directly on a desk or counter, while the liquid silicone shell is designed to absorb shocks. Its slim profile keeps MagSafe and wireless charging accessible without removing the case.

The N55 magnets are moulded into the frame, so compatible MagSafe accessories attach directly to the case. That can be useful when moving between a charger at home, a wallet and a car mount. Compared with a basic case without built-in magnets, this design brings accessory attachment into the case itself, alongside a soft microfibre lining and matte Burgundy exterior.

Buyers have praised the case’s appearance and protective feel. Feedback is mixed on the colour and grip, and some buyers report wear over time or issues with buttons coming loose. These experiences are worth weighing up alongside the case’s practical combination of MagSafe compatibility, raised edges and a lined interior.

Cleaning & care

For routine cleaning, wipe the silicone surface with a damp cloth to remove lint or dirt. This simple care step helps keep the matte finish looking tidy as the case is used day to day. The microfibre lining sits inside the case, helping prevent small scratches where the phone meets the shell.

Usage tips

Fit the case to one of its stated phone models, then use a compatible MagSafe charger, wallet or car mount with the magnetic ring in place. The case is designed to stay on during MagSafe and wireless charging, so there is no need to remove it for those uses. Its full edge coverage and raised screen and camera lips are useful when setting the phone down on everyday surfaces.

It suits you if you want a slim silicone case that combines magnetic accessory support with a soft-lined interior. Buyers’ views on grip vary, so the feel of the finish is a personal consideration when choosing a case.

Is it worth it?

This case brings several useful functions together: MagSafe-compatible N55 magnets, a shock-absorbing liquid silicone exterior, a microfibre lining and raised edges around the screen and camera. That makes it a practical fit for someone who wants to use magnetic accessories while keeping the phone covered for everyday handling. The Burgundy matte finish adds a distinctive look, while the slim shape keeps the case ready for charging and accessory changes without taking it off.
