elago ES17MSAMST63PRO-BK Magnetic Ring Stand Case for iPhone 17 Pro and 18 Pro

The rotating metal ring gives you a built-in grip and a stand, making it easier to hold your phone or set it up for hands-free viewing. It turns through 360 degrees and locks at 120 degrees for a stable viewing position.

The magnetic ring is compatible with MagSafe chargers and mounts, and folds flat against the case when you are on the move. The case is designed for iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro.

A raised edge around the camera array and a tough PC/TPU hybrid shell add everyday protection while keeping the case’s design relatively slim.

Worth noting

This case brings several useful details together: a rotating ring stand, MagSafe compatibility and a dedicated Camera Control Key. The side key is designed to let you access camera functions and take photos or record video without relying solely on the on-screen controls. That can be handy when you want to capture a moment quickly.

The ring also works as a grip while you are holding the phone. For a video call or a spot of streaming, turn it into its stand position and set the phone down. When you are finished, fold it flat again. Its integrated magnet is intended to connect with MagSafe-compatible chargers and mounts, so the stand can serve a purpose beyond propping up the phone.

The all-in-one shell covers the edges and extends over the camera lenses. Its PC/TPU construction is designed for rugged, shock-absorbing protection, while the smooth black finish keeps the look understated. The inner magnet is positioned so the ring components sit flush, supporting a neater fit when attaching a compatible MagSafe charger.

Fit and sizing

The case is made for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro. Choose it for one of those specific models so the case, camera opening and side controls correspond to your phone. It is a basic, close-fitting case rather than a separate stand accessory, so the ring remains part of the phone’s everyday setup.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the ring as a handhold when taking photos, browsing or carrying the phone, then rotate it into its stand position for hands-free viewing. The 120-degree lock gives you a defined angle for video calls or watching clips on a desk. Fold the ring back against the case before slipping the phone into a pocket, and use the Camera Control Key for quick access to the camera.

Buyer feedback on the case’s appearance and durability is mixed. Some customers describe it as attractive and sturdy, while others feel the finish looks inexpensive, one customer reports that the stand broke after a week. These are individual impressions rather than a measure of how every case will perform.

Final verdict

For iPhone 17 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro owners who want a protective case with a built-in stand and grip, the elago combines those functions with MagSafe compatibility and a dedicated camera key. It is particularly suited to everyday use that moves between one-handed handling, quick photography and hands-free viewing, without needing to carry a separate phone stand.
