ARZOPA Z1C 16.1-inch Portable Monitor, Full HD IPS, 100% sRGB

Set up a second screen beside your laptop for spreadsheets, presentations or a video call, then pack it away when your desk is clear. The ARZOPA Z1C combines a 16.1-inch Full HD IPS display with a portable design and adjustable kickstand. Its 100% sRGB colour gamut and matte screen make it a practical fit for both work and entertainment. Need more room to keep tasks in view at once?

What you’ll notice day to day

The 1920 x 1080 resolution gives you a clear workspace for documents, browser tabs and shared presentations. IPS technology and a 178-degree viewing angle help keep the screen visible from different positions, while the matte finish is suited to everyday desk use. With a 16:9 aspect ratio and 60 Hz refresh rate, it works as a straightforward companion display for office tasks, streaming and gaming.

The adjustable kickstand lets you set the screen at a useful viewing angle, and the display can be used in horizontal or vertical orientation. That flexibility is handy when you want a wider view for a presentation or more vertical space for code and longer documents. Built-in speakers and the Eye Care feature add useful everyday touches without changing the Z1C’s role as a portable second screen.

Buyer feedback often highlights the monitor’s light feel, easy setup and crisp picture. Its portability is also appreciated for travel and for working in a smaller home workspace. These are reported impressions rather than a promise of identical results for every setup, but they speak to the practical appeal of a screen designed to move between locations.

Key takeaways

The Z1C’s main draw is the combination of Full HD resolution, IPS viewing and 100% sRGB colour in a portable monitor. The stated brightness is 300 cd/m², with a 1000:1 contrast ratio. FreeSync is included for gaming use, while the adjustable stand gives you more choice over how the screen sits on a desk.

Connect through USB-C or HDMI, depending on your device and setup. For USB-C video, the source device needs a full-function USB-C port that supports display output. The monitor is described for use with laptops, PCs, Macs, smartphones and consoles, HDMI is also listed among its connection options. The supplied accessories include a Mini HDMI-to-HDMI cable and two USB-C-to-USB-C cables, along with a user guide.

Compared with choosing a fixed desktop monitor, this model centres on a screen you can reposition and take with you. It makes sense when an additional display is useful at different desks, for travel or for a flexible home-working setup, rather than as a permanent fixture.

Practical tips

Place the monitor beside your main screen and adjust the kickstand before connecting, so the display sits comfortably for your task. Choose landscape for side-by-side windows or presentations, and portrait when a taller view suits your document or coding workspace. If using USB-C, connect to a device with video output over that port, otherwise, use the HDMI connection supported by your setup.

The supplied guide and cables provide the basics for getting started, while the slim, lightweight design is intended to fit easily into a laptop bag. Keep the screen positioned securely on a desk or other stable surface when using the stand, particularly when changing its orientation.

When it makes sense

A solid pick if you want a portable Full HD screen for extending a laptop workspace, presenting on the move or adding a display for entertainment and gaming. The 16.1-inch IPS panel, 100% sRGB colour and adjustable stand give it useful range across those everyday settings, while its connection options help it slot into a compatible device setup.
