ARZOPA A1 Grey 15.6" Portable Monitor, Full HD IPS, Matte Display, 742g

The matte Full HD IPS screen helps keep reflections down, making this portable monitor easier to use in bright rooms and on the move. At 742g, the ARZOPA A1 Grey is light to carry alongside a laptop. Its 15.6-inch display gives you extra screen space for work, video and gaming. Built-in speakers and a folding kickstand make it ready for a range of everyday setups.

Quick overview

The A1 Grey combines a 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 16:9 IPS display and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Flicker-free technology and a blue light filter are designed to support more comfortable viewing during longer sessions, while HDR10 support adds to its appeal for watching films. The matte finish is particularly useful where overhead lights or daylight might reflect off a glossy screen.

Two USB Type-C ports support power and video, and a mini HDMI connection provides another way to connect a compatible device. The monitor also has built-in speakers, so it can handle casual viewing or gaming without requiring a separate audio setup. Buyers often highlight its light weight, clear picture and straightforward set-up, making it a practical choice for work away from a fixed desk.

How it fits

Use it as a second screen beside a laptop when you need more room for documents, video calls or reference material. Its portable format also suits a hotel desk, a shared workspace or a compact home office, where a full-size desktop monitor may be less convenient to position or store. For gaming, the mini HDMI connection offers a way to link compatible consoles such as PS4 or Switch, laptop connections can use USB Type-C or HDMI, depending on the device and connection available.

The integrated kickstand supports a ready-to-use setup on a suitable flat surface, and the screen can be turned to portrait orientation where that layout suits the task. The grey edition is supplied with a fabric sleeve and three cables: a Type-C data cable, an HDMI-to-mini-HDMI cable and a USB-C power cable. That combination helps keep the display and its connections together when packing for a trip.

Usage tips

For a laptop setup, connect through USB Type-C when the device supports video over that connection. The monitor’s dual USB-C ports support power and video together, while mini HDMI provides a separate video connection for compatible equipment. Position the kickstand on a stable surface before connecting, then arrange the screen beside your main display for a more useful working layout.

For films or casual gaming, the built-in speakers provide onboard audio, and the matte screen can help manage reflections in brighter surroundings. At 15.6 inches, it offers a larger viewing area than a mobile phone while remaining easy to carry with other work essentials.
